the title says exactly what i mean.. the poop in anime are not shown brown just like in real life but however they are shown in different colors other than brown, most of them are either pink or white.. for example in the given images especially    and lastly, our beloved gintoki sakata has to say something about poop  i wonder why poops in anime are shown with different colors instead of regular brown. i bet they are tasty to eat |

| Poop in Japan is actually that color, didn't you know that? It's because of their diet, which includes things like cherry blossom rice balls. Incidentally, that's also why vomit in anime is rainbow colored. |

| I beg to differ about it happening ALL the time. Some actually are still brown. Example from Binbougami ga that IMMEDIATELY came to mind when you said they're ALL colorful. Most are. But some are still the normal color... why this matters I don't understand lol. It's like when my 12 year old niece (who was 8 at the time) was watching some of the old cartoons my sister I watched as a kid and stumbled on CatDog and her first question was "How do they poop?" My sister and I never thought about that and so it cracked us both up. It's not important in any way it's just a curiosity that may never get the correct answer as every person you ask may have a different one for you. |

There is an episode where shit is literally thrown........ If anything its probably something to do with the asthetics of the show. Toriyama basically made his stools all pink and like curls of icecream, his shows were generally for all ages. But playing with shit, i guess it just doesn't fit with his design. Crayon Shin Chan shows shit in its original uncensored form, when it was dog shit. |
