Epic!! All of the Straw Hat Pirates on the move!!

Luffy, Sanji, Zoro and Chopper seeing Usopp's condition then all flaming in anger and seriousness and going to kick the hell out of the Franky Brothers' asses!
(Nami is guarding/protecting the ship and the money left(100,000,000 belli)!)

Luffy: "You can kiss your asses good-bye!"

The last moments and luffy's sentences were a big shock! (Now, this is 100% the reason for that to happen!)
Luffy: "About the ship... I've decided. We're saying good-bye to the Going Merry."

Don't Read!!-Read at your on danger! (This is just some conclusions and thoughts from me, but they can be quite spoily!)::

Another spoiler! [This time it's a real spoiler with a mix of my thoughts, don't ever read this if you don't want to be spoiled!]

5/5 ep!!

I've become really addicted! I can't stop my desire for more!
Gonna watch next ep after getting some sleep ^ ^
Till then~

That's literally what was said in Japanese, but gist wise, "You can kiss your asses goodbye" works too, haha.

I loved this episode, it reminded me of the alrong arc where the crew is marching towards alrong park. Same thing here, only this time there rescuing usupp. Also luffy makes his final decision on parting with merry. Luffy's development is really progressing as far as being a captain.

I mean if you recall events from the start of the show, he has really progressed and came along way since then. One of the critical decisions will be put to the test in the next episode.

I think "Leave no bones unbroken" is a bigger impact than "Kiss your asses goodbye" but still, they were really blood thirsty!

Poor Usopp, more than his wounds, his pride will be really hurting D:

It's funny how they were more serious in this one episode than they ever were in the whole Skypiea arc. I mean in there, it took Zoro over 30 episodes to use santoryu but here, it only took seeing Usopp so messed up :P (yes i pay attention to how many times zoro uses 3 swords)

I liked it when it essentially did a redux of the walk to Arlong Park scene and I like how it was interjected with each of the crew's interactions with Usopp.

And I'm glad Luffy came to that decision at the end because it would've been sooo dumb to have him completely ignore the shipwrights' advice and put his crew in danger, especially when he's the captain.

I love it when the boys all go on a rampage together. I really enjoyed seeing Chopper let lose. I think he sells himself short way too often, he knows what he's doing.

Luffy's decision to part with the Going Merry was for the best. He's often going off and doing as he pleases, using the fact that Captain's orders are absolute to his advantage whether he's aware of it or not. This time he's coming through for his Nakama with a decision that wasn't completely black and white, he had to think about this carefully and then make the call for the safety of his crew. It just shows that Luffy is capable of being a truly awesome Captain when it comes down to it.

Don't underestimated the power of "Nakama" xD
Once you messed up one of their "nakama".. You think they would just sit & relax?

Sorry I shouldn't used real logics.. (Eh is this a real logic?) xD

The outcome of this "fight" was so obvious...if you could even call it that, but I was so hyped seeing the guys so mad and kicking ass! Angry Luffy is so cool, prolly bc he's such a chill guy and he barely gets mad. It's always way more impactful to see someone like Luffy mad, as opposed to Zoro or Sanji- since they're pretty grouchy to begin with...usually towards each other XD

Also, holy cow Sanji should just take on a second career as a gymnast or a break dancer bc those moves.

Wondering how Franky's gonna react when he gets back to find that his workshop and cronies got completely trashed. Not too happy, I'd imagine.

One of the best parts of One Piece is when the crew sees one of their own beat down, and comes together with anger to go kick some ass

Arlong vibes. The angry walk to Franky House absolutely mirrored the walk to Arlong Park and I loved it. The Straw Hats are so badass when they’re angry. I love how we saw all of them reminiscing over Usopp and getting ready to fight with Luffy adjusting his hat, Zoro putting on his hachimaki, Sanji getting a smoke ready, and Chopper getting mad. Them destroying Franky House was so utterly satisfying because we understand both why they are so angry and how much they care about Usopp, but we also understand Usopp’s perspective and how his treasure and his pride were crushed like it was nothing. Those paired with one absolutely low tier obnoxious villain group and it made the bits like where they told off the guy telling them where the money went that “It has nothing to do with money. It’s too late” so metal.

Sadly during that entire amazing scene there was a melancholic backbone. More than a call back to Arlong arc, we had a very similar scene to one of Usopp’s first and best in Khaladore arc where he, beaten and bruised, unable to move, yelled that the Khaladore pirates were not going get past him. Here we had him being brutalized and stomped on while he yelled to give back the money. But this time you have to realize, he felt awful about being so useless and scared against Aokiji, and he felt awful for losing to the Franky’s in the first place because more than losing what is important to him as his treasure and the crew as their ship by proxy, he also felt he was failing his dream of being the epic brave warrior he wants to be. Now he had that shoved in his face again, he can’t face anyone like he thought, and this time he had to be saved. Despite how satisfying the beatdown scene was and how they exploded the Franky House, this thought was in the back of my head the entire time. Usopp will not feel good about this. He will feel even more useless. I sincerely hope that Oda wrote it that Usopp can redeem himself in his own eyes by being the one to take down the boss Franky. If not this will be a massive blow for him to take on top of also hearing the news that they’re going to say goodbye to his treasure the Going Merry. These last episodes crushed me because of how much I love my man Usopp.

Iceberg had Nico Robin in his room on a wanted poster however if I recall she didn’t bat an eye when she heard they were going to meet a man named Iceberg. Because of this, I’m wondering how he has such close ties to her. I also wonder if the boss Franky wants to get the thing that Iceberg has, that the government official also wants. Maybe it will be related to the major plot about the poneglyphs!

Lastly, the way Luffy spoke at the end of the episode was chilling. He was so serious and resolved upon what he said. I don’t fully get it and I’m writing these all while the forums are down, and this is the first time I really want to see what people think about something since Mal forums went down. Earlier he was devastated, demanding that they keep the Merry.
