| Over the years, anime, light novel and manga are getting more and more explicit with sexual content. In the beginning, there's just ecchi. Then there's uncensored nipples. After that, there's sex that's not shown to the audience. Finally, there's straight up coitus shown as if it's hentai. It seems sex is the direction some anime/manga/light novel are heading to increase views and sale. Do you want more of these adult content in anime or no? Or should it be included as a deluxe/uncensored edition of the anime? Obviously, there's insanely sexual explicit contents in very old anime in the 80s and 90s, but I'm referring to current shows. |

| Unless sex is important for the plot (and I mean actual plot, not so-called ecchi "plot"), then no, I don't actively want it. Although I also don't actively not want it either. As long as it serves a purpose I suppose it's fine, but sex just kinda bores me, TBH |

Honestly most of the people saying just watch a hentai don't realize you can approach sex as a topic beyond "horny". It can be good for relationship or character building or to explore certain topics around sex in a more serious way. |
| implied sex in romance shows usually adds a lot of gravity to whatver is happening, its pretty cool as for actual sex, 99% there will be no reason to actually include it. it'd mostly be an excuse to make higher quality, 12 episode hentai with a plot and 2 sex scenes every episode which im not complaining about otherwise i'd probably not really like it. as with sex scenes in other movies and tv, i respect the director's reason for including it but kinda just wait for it to be over unless its like a really nice character moment like I said before |

| I feel like the main difference between sex scenes in anime and hentai is the quality, but that can be easily fixed if hentai studios had bigger budgets. As for more sex scenes unless its very necessary I think the current state is fine |

| @Dragevard There's plenty of modern shows that feature sex scenes so I don't care. Unless you are talking about shonen anime featuring sex scenes, which sure I wouldn't mind if it was just implied and not actually showing Goku, Luffy or Tanjiro laying pipe. |
