----------------------------------------
Louis vs. Oguma, even if it was a father-son debate, that was a scary moment. Even with the herbivore that he helped save during the raid at the stripper bar, the chance to get out of the Black Market, Louis has but only one road ahead of him: remain as the boss of the Shishigumi and figure his way out by himself.

Juno being invited by Legosi, but the latter's intention clearly is to find Tem's killer. Oh well, her heart being played once again, for fool's sake from the non-delicacy wolf. The enlightenment is saving yourself from disgrace, and in public no less.

The meat training lesson with Gouhin more of less solidified his strength, but his feelings and reasoning towards Haru are even less pronounced, and announcing marriage at a whim? Unbelievable though to want to progress THAT far, at least is what on top of Legosi's head of thought.

A jaw war between carnivores, and typically as always, Tiger Bill chooses Legosi to face him. At the expense of training his temptation of meat and jaw strength, all of that is lost within a split second...and that's not good. Cat boys. What a man.

A quick mention to @ttcchen for capturing this episode's MVP:

Wow they really rearranged a bunch of scenes so all the exciting twists are saved for the later half of this cour (for example, the bite strength test happened before Legosi met Haru in the library:

Dont have much to say for this episode aside from that beach water being so fluidly animated.

They also making a lot of use of that white outline that they were using in season 1 and i love it. Its one of the great things about the first episode of season 1!

Also, hearing "cat boy" feels soooo satisfying! Haha. XD oh bill~ this is why i love ye so much.

Juno getting her teeth checked was so funny. At least we know male teeth are bigger than female teeth now, right? Legosi's proposal to Haru was hilarious too, the person who dropped their books made it even funnier. Haru and Legosi's relationship is pretty much confirmed at this point.

Legosi's jaw strength is deteriorating... Lack of meat is supposedly the cause?

Man, this was a really cute episode. First, the interaction between Legoshi and Juno was great to watch. Juno was acting so cute there. Then, Haru and Legoshi's interaction was so adorable. The guy who dropped books on Legoshi's marriage proposal to Haru was hilarious.
But, looks like Haru's finally thinking a lot more about Legoshi than before and I'm lovin' it.
Great episode.

Legosi is going wild with all these questions.

Also it's pretty safe to assume that
is the murderer after that fairly subtle comment on being able to lift more than 'cat boys'.

Its so funny how unaware Legoshi is romantically. First toying with Juno's emotions with that teeth check, whatever that was, and straight up asking Haru to marry him lol. It's so hard to not like Legoshi.

I wonder why Legoshi seems to have gotten much weaker. Unless I'm mistaken, I don't think he has changed his diet or anything. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

it's probably not what made him weak since he's never eaten meat before since it's illegal remember the cafeteria scene in s1 eps 2? Legosi like all carnivores in the school are vegetarians however his bite strength was pretty strong in the past so it must have been something else maybe him suppressing his instincts that made him weak?

A fun episode, nothing too serious this time. That moment when Legosi asked Haru for marriage was the perfect scene. The guy in the back dropped his books as well. It was so funny. Not a lot of Louis this episode. That Jaw game was quick, looks like Legosi cant get a hold of himself after clearing the first stage of his training. He has to find out the culprit real quick now.

I guess Legosi is pretty sleep deprived, that would explain why his jaw isn't very powerful anymore. Although, knowing anime, there will probably be a much bigger reason behind it.

A better episode than last week’s. I enjoyed Legoshi’s interactions with Yuno and Haru as well as Rouis’s conversation with his dad. Legoshi losing his strength by rejecting his primal urges should be an interesting point of addressn the coming episodes.

Been a while since I watched Beastars, forgot that the whole school was vegetarian. He's completely suppressed his meat eating instincts. Maybe his body thought "not going to need this jaw strength anymore since this body isn't ever going to consume meat, might as well just get rid of it" ?

I noticed that too, it was very subtle foreshadowing. Assuming he is the murderer I struggle to find any motives though...

loooool that guy stumbling when Legosi asked Haru to marry him. My guy is going way tooo fast with this whole romance thing. But funnily enough, his weirdness does seem to be working with good ol'Haru

Poor Juno though lmao, she keeps getting jebaited so hard

But onto more pressing matters, I feel like Legoshi's training is probably making him lose his carnivore instincts which explains his lack in jaw strength? Perhaps next ep will focus on that, but ngl thought Legosi would destroy that competition given his enhanced reflexes but hopefully will get to see the reason behind the jaw issue

So far this was the ep I enjoyed most, it showed the cute and caring side of Legoshi, have miss that in a while, since he seemed too confused in the last eps ^^
Juno had such high expectations with Legoshi, but ended up awkwardly disappointed, it's not like he totally forgot that she confessed to him, more like he doesn't care. He so focused on his goal, he does see any other thing infront of him except for a certain bunny.

Tag yourself in the ep, I'm that dude with the books in the library xD

I think Legoshi wants to skip too many steps with Haru lol.

Wow that character who dropped the books was funny as hell. Well lots of things happened in this episode, and I can say that each of them brought an impact from me.

Louis with Oguma scene was very good, as well as in the bar with her stripper friend. Then we got Legoshi checking out Juno's fangs, and I agree with those men at the back, "they really have to do that weird makeup somewhere else. And once again Juno was left awkward just like that.

Next we have the scene with Gouhin, and wow Legoshi you did the meat of those poor souls justice. That attempted punch was unexpected but it did remind him that he is cleared of the first stage. We have the Jaw Game scene, and after all the fatigue and all-nighters that Legoshi took to train, the effects are there, he lost to Billy Boi in an easy swoop. Now he needs to fix his jaw strength, he'll instantly lose with the way he is now.

Although...the main scene...Legoshi and Haru...FINALLY. After 2 full episodes, Haru is back and she finally talked with her boyfriend Legoshi. This is the episode that Haru shined to me, guess that absence was worth it. Legoshi wanting to marry her...fucking yessir. Now we have:

Haru is cute when flustered. And what's more is that she rejected someone's offer to mingle with her. Our girl is finally walking in the right direction, let's go.

Poor Louis couldn't even beat his foster father with those confrontation. He even reckoned it as a trifle delinquency only. However, Louis knew exactly the right thing to do, for now. Shishigumi was the right place to filled his blank heart after whats happened, lately.

Meanwhile, Legosi played Juno's heart, once more? Nah. Its more like a mouth examination for me. Its good enough for Legosi to decided the perpetrator gender, i guess. Then, Legosi surpassed the first stage of Panda's meat resistance training? Well, congratulations, i guess.

I feel weird when they shows me how Legosi burried that meat. Its, feels, so wrong, honestly. But, whatever. Legosi strong determination to surpassed his instinct making that Panda to levelled up the training! Then, the most important part of the episode: Haru-chan showed up again!

Their conversation felt a bit funny. But, yeah, its cute seeing those weird couple did a nice talk, there. I can't help but to think that Haru already openned up her heart more than before. Then, Legosi just purely told the marriage proposal really burst out my laugh all of a sudden. That side animal bewildered really personified my minds, after seeing that scene. Good catch.

Then, the jaw test. I can see how this test ended its route. But, cat boy won against the lonely wolf. Its actually understandable, tho. Because, you know, Legosi already turned out into a puppy. So, whats happened after that? Lets see next!

Legoshi's logic is out of this world. Proposing to Haru even though they haven't dated and believes dating is unnecessary. Honestly this sounds like something Legoshi would do lol.

Legoshi's jaw is weak. Wonder what's the cause of this. Lack of food? Lack of sleep? Lack of meat? I'm Curious.

Guess we gonna have to wait for the reason why Legoshi jaw got weak since it seems he hasn't lost his strength by the way he was able to stop Gouhin punch and he never ate meat, so not eating the one he was training with shouldn't affect him.

Also I don't see what part of it shows who the killer is aside from the obvious that it has to be a bear due to size, only carnivores bigger than gray wolves are cats and bears and the cats here are only a tad bigger than Legoshi, also you can see part of the physique of the killer when he attacks Legoshi, that guy is really jacked.

Hmm why indeed. Idk enough about dogs/wolves to know a logical reason his jaw could be feeling weak. Legoshi is really just thinking on such a large scale about everything, but it's also partially selfish and because of the hatred he had for carnivores. Poor Haru just wants a normal relationship. Tho I feel like Legoshi is really coming to terms with things during that scene where he put the meat to rest.

Also Louis is pretty fucking stuck in the thick of it at this point.

Legoshi's out of nowhere proposal to Haru was something else. Cute stuff though overall there, and this episode as a whole was very good in its slow building as usual. Legoshi's really working his ass off, although his ass kicked in that little tug of war with jaws/mouths against Bill.

I don't know exactly why I like this show so much, it's an anime clichè and at times so unique and intriguing that makes me eager for each episode. All the characters have a strong personality and some kind of desire, Legosi is definitely my favorite, he's clumsy and innocent but knows when to get violent to protect his friends (that haircut makes him pretty cute too tho). Have I been taken by the fur army at this point?

Remember, guys and ladies, there's only two effective ways of making people fall in love with you: either by asking them to marry you before properly dating, or by requesting to see their fangs all the way to their molar teeth. Another great episode for the count.

I liked the episode, but I'm confused about the whole Jaw War game thing. Isn't rating meat illegal in Beastars? Isn't it supposed to be that Legosi has never eaten animal meat before? And if so, then why does him losing the urge to do that make his jaw weaker?

I don't understand why Legosi has lost his jaw strength. Isn't eating meat illegal in the show? If so, then why does Legosi, who's(presumably) never eaten meat before, defeating the urge to do so make him lose his jaw strength. It's not like he was chomping on herbivores without a second thought previously.
