I just realized none of my 10s are from the 2010 decade except for Gintama sequels.

Without saying too much, Gintama Enchousen and S4 just give nutty animation, comedy, and story-telling.

I mean, every one of my 10/10 are after 2010 (excluding Kiki’s) sooo...

Sword Art Online - Literally, the greatest anime ever made!
Your Lie in April - No form of entertainment has impacted as deeply.
My Love Story!! - Too cute for words!
Darling in the Franxx - Great cast, timely message, and awesome symbolism.
Tsukigakirei - A perfect love story.

As for films, I’ve got Wolf Children and A Silent Voice which are both spectacular films imo.

yes and it's going to get another one I think but what else do you consider have you watched re zero
Yeah, I've watched it but I don't consider it great. Don't get me wrong, I think I know why you thought of re:zero because it's good but the animation quality can be really inconsistent at times.

Also other KyoAni stuff such as Hyouka, A Silent voice and others are ones I consider that came close to being a masterpiece.

Usagi Drop because there's very little wrong with it. It's characters are all fantastic. The story is exceptional, even if it's pretty simple. The art is solid and unique and the sound is wonderful. Keep in mind I am not talking about the manga. I hold very different opinions of that abomination.

The closest thing for me is Innocent. I love French history. Sakamoto and his team did an incredible job. Especially with the art which is some of the best digital art I've seen yet in manga.

No one mentioned one of my favs so i'll say it loudly... The manga was great, it was released in 2009 and the anime was aired in Fall 2012. The story was great, it has an amazing storyline with likable characters (mostly all of the charas), the MC wasn't dense like your typical MCs, great animation as this was released back in 2012.
how was the ending means bittersweet or more like happy ending or something else??

Re:Zero without a doubt a masterpiece.
I always liked fantasy setting.
I like weak Main characters who has problems and overcomes them is delight to watch.
I like how subaru tries to stay cheerful even though the amount of shit he has gone through. I hate edgy MC who are edgy without a reason(have you seen shoujo anime mc yeah that type of mc i hate the most).
I like how the world of re:zero so big and full of mystery.
I like the characters actually have personalities and lives.(not like a fucking demon slayer where some guy is too edgy, some is a crybaby for no reason , some smile fucking all the time, some can't speak etc in short demon slayer characters suck)
I like how thrilling and horrifying it is(psychological horror) i have never seen in any media.
To sum it up this is THE SHOW for the first time i am into an anime so much i wish it gets sequels quickly.....Anyone who has not seen or doesn't like it please give it another shot i am sure you won't be disappointed.

Which one? The anime or the manga? The anime has an open ending for me, but it's better that way. Not really that kind of open ending tho, more like a happy ending.

For the manga, the ending was terrific. Totally recommended for both manga and anime.
so if I watch the anime it will give me a satisfying ending or not as manga have a sad ending I would not go for the manga so tell me if the anime have an happy ending I will watch it

If I don't count Monogatari series that started in 2009, I think Madoka Magica is the best anime in last decade, there are other great shows like A Silent Voice, 3-Gatsu no Lion, Sora Yori mo Tooi Basho, Your Name, Shinsekai Yori, Steins Gate, Haikyuu! ...

-Attack on titan grows to a masterpiece on later seasons, and if we take into consideration what Isayama was planning since the beginning you can consider it a masterpiece from start´
-Mob psycho is among the best anime this decade showed us
-Movies I'd say Koe no Katachi and No game No life: Zero. Not only the animation, but the story and characters have some unique traits I rarely see
-I feel the comment from the guy that said the lack of shinsekai yori. I watched like 15 eps maybe (on-hold currently because I was watching HxH) and so far it seems to be a very well crafted story. Many people praise it also, I should finish it lol

-Little Witch Academia OVA
-3-gatsu no Lion

I have high hopes for Madoka Magica, Kyousou Giga, and Made in Abyss. I have heard good things about them

Attack on Titan has come very close to being a mordern masterpiece.
It can potentially do the same thing what evangelion did for the 90s anime.
Another anime that holds great potential is Re:zero.

I completely agree with everything you just said. Furthermore, if season 4 does well people will come to understand the masterpiece layers of the already produced seasons.

From this year there is only one masterpiece: The Eight Son? Are you Kidding Me?

Last year, A Certain Magical Index, the latest season. So much better than the first season. Also Danmachi season 2 when they are in the prostitute quarters half the time. And it ends with him bringing home a cute blushing prostitute for his harem, with the bonus that she is a hot hooker but never actually had any customers since she always fainted.

Best isekai: Arifureta - From Commonplace to World's Strongest. And Choyoyu, where the genius kids build a nuclear power plant and missiles in a medieval fantasy world. Fantastic world building and surprising realism. I feel like I could build missiles myself after watching that.

But really, any anime where there's something between the main character and his little sister. I love the Japanese focus on little sisters. That made Rascal Doesn't Dream of Bunnygirl Senpai much better. I don't know how many times I've watched Yosuga no Sora, wishing that all the other girls in the MC's own age would just go away. Or Nakaimo - My Sister Is Among Them! He has the hots for serveral girls but one of them is secretly his little sister, oh boy.

Also armpit licking. That comes from when Japanese porn was forbidden to show pubic hair, so someone got the idea to show a girl spread her legs with panties on, but at the same time hold up her arms to expose the unshaven armpits. The focus on one of the three girl's armpits took The Testament of Sister New Devil to a whole new level.

Future Diary could have made the list if there had been more embarrassing urination scenes. I feel like the writer really held back. Likewise Made in Abyss - they could have done so much more in the pedo direction if it hadn't been for annoying laws getting in the way.
