How accurate are your theories in solving anime mysteries?

Trying to predict or to solve a case or a situation in anime is somewhat common and usual for viewers. And as a mystery fan, solving mysteries are kinda fun and exciting. So, if I would guess about how accurate are my theories and predictions, and compare them to the results, I'd say 65%.

Sometimes if I felt an anime interesting, I will really pay attention to it. Because once you pay attention, you can predict or theorize the situation. The animes that I overly paid attention to are: Monster, Re Zero, Steins;Gate, Made in Abyss, Death Note, The Promised Neverland, etc. Some scenes are easy to predict(or suprisingly predictable) and that pushes me to keep predicting or theorizing the following situations. Some are also hard to solve because some need knowledge about history, events, or any other kinds of complex topics. But yeah, seeing some of my theories that resulted correct feels comfortable and amazing.

Therefore, from my experience, having a 65% chance of solving anime mysteries is acceptable for me.

It's your turn, how's yours?

I don't really try to formulise theories about mysteries in anime as I haven't watched an anime where I could do so as in try to solve the mysteries myself , any suggestions( preferably a detective anime ) ?

I can't put a number but I'd say that I'm ok in understanding the anime, for example Paranoia Agent, so hard to watch but I solved the mystery so to say.

Try Monster, Death Note, Terror in Resonance, and ID:Invaded.

My deductions are mostly misses. I don't really analyze things very much, so depending on how well written the mystery is, my deduction ranges from about 80% accuracy to -1000% ( The more well written it is, the less accurate I am).

Fairly accurate if I try.

But maybe its better not to try. There's so many anime twists where, I thought "yeah that was pretty expected now that I think about it". But if I tried to predict it then it wouldn't have been such a mind blowing twist, and directly less enjoyable.

I don't try to solve any theories, it ruins the shock factor in the big reveal.

For detective series like Conan, I can guess the culprit (multiple suspects) about 80% of the time but can only really solve the case/tricks about 50% of the time (probably less). But some series are easier to solve than others, Danganronpa is far easier than Conan for example.

Anime mysteries usually have no logic to them.

All I do 20 hours a day is formulate theories on the new chapters of the Re:ZERO's WN. Right now, there are a lot of mysteries and some of my answers have been correct, some have been wrong.

I don't think I do that much of this; if anything I'm more likely to think in terms of "what possibilities are left?" rather than "which answer is most likely?".

Predicting "who" is the culprit is easy but "how" is the tougher and more interesting question.

I'm usually pretty accurate, this is why so many things become boring to me tbh

I’d say I do pretty good on solving the mysteries unless there is information that you aren’t given that is needed to solve the mystery. I basically predicted the entirety of Baccano! except for the immortality portion because that information was never given to me as to why they are immortal. The twist I am most proud of in getting right is the one in Your Name, where I somehow predicted the twist.

Extremely... I watch so many mystery anime, dramas and tv shows, it's easy for me to figure out whodunit and howdunit but not the whydunit not always..
Note i watched and read every detective anime, manga out there so i know I'm accurate with my deductions

Hallmark mystery nights mystery are the easiest to figure out..

There's lot more J-dramas than anime when it comes to mystery...i love any mystery drama not just japanese or american or British...

This medium barely contains any intriguing mysteries.
