Rushia Uruha I don't think she's the funniest - she has a lot of good moments, but her repertoire of jokes feels comparatively limited to others like Korone or Pekora or Coco - but holy shit, she is heart melting. Like she is the type I just really want to put a ring on her finger. I am glued to her streams. I watched her play toy boxing as part of her 500k stream last night and it was so overwhelmingly wholesome. I think the main appeal of her streams is that and stuff like comedy just makes her more well-rounded off as opposed to being the primary appeal. I watch her streams whenever I see them up, and go back and watch her old streams she has up. I adore her. 2. Subaru Oozora She's just a dork. She's hilarious, but it's never like, burst out laughing like it can be with Pekora. She's adorable, but she doesn't totally wrap me around her finger like Rushia. But she never has a moment where she feels off her game, and when she talks with her audience, she comes off as the most genuine and real. She is frighteningly consistent and very well rounded, and how well she can convince me of sincerity and just talking about whatever bullshit she feels like, as opposed to acting certain ways or doing certain types of content for viewers, really adds another layer to what makes her so fun to watch. I know a sticking point for her with some people can be her voice, but I won't lie, I find it kind of sexy. Her voice is just great. It's certainly different than the other Vtubers, but I think that's a good point of distinction for her. She's also just a natural straight man, so her dynamic with other hololive idols can be really, really fun to watch. I also watch her streams, albeit not as much as Rushia's. Still probably my favorite clip tbh. 3. Pekora Usada I think she is the most natural comedian and is by far the funniest imo. There is a good reason she's one of the, if not the, most memeable. Her timing, voice, reactions, demeanor, everything is just fucking comedy cold. I don't find her particularly well rounded in comparison to Rushia or Subaru, but she doesn't need to be. She has her strength, she plays into that strength really well. That strength is also something that can keep me coming back to her content. 4. Aqua Minato I really like her little series on the Minecraft server where she has her neighbor's spat with Shion, and I think she was the dominant force in making it funny. Her airhead moments can also be pretty linkable to people. Also surprisingly good at games. She's kind of got this thing where everything great about her feels confined to a few really strong moments as opposed to well-rounded and consistently funny/amusing content. I stick to clips with her as opposed to streams, but her clips tend to be a goldmine. The biggest drop off is probably between Pekora and Aqua, though. This is where I had to actually start figuring out who I wanted to list next, whereas the first three were pretty easy to figure out xP 5. Kanata Amane Wholesome incarnate. Her debut stream was one of the most awkwardly pure things I've ever seen. I do feel like she tends to shine the most when she's put in collab streams with other vtubers, but I don't think I've ever seen anything involving her that didn't stick with me to some extent. I haven't put too much thought into her, admittedly, but I've probably watched her more than anybody who isn't already listed here, and honestly, probably more than Aqua. She's just such a good downtime vtuber. So chill. |

| I only watch English holo-live v-tubers. I love all them but if I choose my favorite one between the five of them, it would definitely be Gawr Gura. She's entertaining, she can sing and she smol. Perfect combination. |

| I'm not really a watch-entire-streams kind of guy buuuuut. Recently I've really come to like Houshou Marine, I'd say she is my favorite. My first exposure to her was a humorous collab video with Kiryu Coco. In essence what I like about Marine is her voice (the way she speaks) and her humor. Also her drawings are really cool. I didn't really like her 3d model at first, but I've gotten accustomed to it. I mean it's good, I just thought others looked a bit better. When it comes to Hololive EN I follow all of them to an extent. I think Mori Calliope was the first Hololive channel I subscribed to (my interest in Hololive is pretty recent). I also like Subaru and Rushia. Their voices are nice to the ear. |

| Well I've watched quite a few clips of v-tubers like Mori Calliope, Gawr Gura and others, but I've still got to watch actual full videos/livestreams of them. I think so far my 2 most favorite might be Mori and Gawr Gura. Sadly the Japanese v-tubers are still a bit off limits as far as livestreams and videos on their official channels go, since I can't understand the language. |
