alright I will write a full essay for you about why ritsu is so appealing to me.

THE APPEAL OF RITSU

While Ritsu is a girl who pushes the boundaries of tomboyness, she is still favored by me amongst all the girls in K-ON. So WHAT shi, makes Ritsu so damn appealing. I'mma TELL U.

It all revolves around her personality. Yes I'm a personality over looks guy BUT THAT DOESN'T MATTER since Ritsu still got the looks. Ritsu is clearly the one that keeps the band fun and encouraging. Her jokes and pranks are what makes the show and the relationships sweet. Her carefree personality is the sole reason for her being an appealing girl. HOWEVER, even though she likes having fun and all, she has a clear determination to make the club succeed even though everyone else has lost hope about it. Despite her being such a carefree girl, her actions means no harm. She makes sure to apologize if she noticed that a joke went too far or was interpreted wrong.

Ritsu is a very realistic character as well IMO, she prioritizes fun stuff over studies and practice, and then suffer some consequences due to it. Similar to many peoples daily highschool life. Procastinating becomes something natural. And this is what makes her into such an appealing character. She is a somewhat relateable character. *OKAY PAUSE HAHAHA, I CAN'T BELIEVE I'M WRITING THIS, ALRIGHT BACK INTO IT*. It is difficult to get her into something boring like studying or practice, but when she becomes determined, the work she does gets done in an instant. Like when she wanted to study with her friends in university so she studied hard for it.

Now her confidence level is the thing that is the foundation for her personality. It works perfectly against her and for her. She becomes an appealing character due to her carefree personality, and that carfreeness is made possible by her confidence. However it can't be denied that Ritsu has screwed up sometimes because of her confidence level being too high. For example when she took control over giving directions to the club and made them get lost in Kyoto. BUT when she screws up she does the "put hands behind head" move, and that made me go, wow I also do that.

Ritsu is also a loyal friend and, on top of that, curious person. She will definetly do hard work for a friend without complaining about it. ALSO she is very athletic which makes her for some reason, MORE APPEALING. Probably due to the fact that her carefree personality goes well with being athletic. She can also cook, waifu material.

Alright Shi I've been talking aaall about the traits that is displayed clearly in her personality so I'mma dig deeper for u. Also if this isn't the longest MAL reply then wtf.

Despite being a carefree girl, she hates showing her weaknesses when it comes too feelings. If something is troubling her then she will put up a tough act and act like everything is alright. This shows that she is thoughtful and doesn't want to trouble others with her small mishaps. This is more boyish then girlish.

Even though she has her boyish side and is also childish. Her girly side can come out sometimes. For example when Mio sent her a letter looking like a confession, her feelings took over and she started acting more girlish. She can also be very shy, when she had to play the role of Juliet, she displayed shyness. Which shows that she isn't just a "boy", she has the girly side when it comes to stuff like these.

Ritsu rarely gets in a bad mood, but when she does, the whole atmosphere weights down and feels very stiff. Since she is the one bringing positivity into the group, being negative comes like a suprise and it affects everyone in the club. This shows that the club is somewhat dependent on her.

Now Shi... It's a girl that has the behavior of a boy, but since her personality traits are so unique and great. That fact becomes irrelevant. Ritsu is the girl that will make any boy that likes childish behaviour, loyalty and carefreeness fall all over for her.

YIKES did I really write all this about a fictional girl alrighty. I won't read what I just typed since that's too damn long lol. That concludes my essay shizu.
