I enjoyed the first half more (until the end of episode 7 or so).
Either way, it was a good anime. 8/10 first half and 6/10 second half

Brilliant and creative finale to the most cozy, comfy and relaxing anime of my watchlist to date! I’m really going to miss this show, but thank the lords there’s more to be coming! Can’t wait for Season 2 and the movie in particular to air already!

Honestly, I just loved the character interactions and the camping info throughout the series! Each and every episode was fascinating and it was just so dang comfy!
Sound Department of the show was just outstanding and a very soothing company to have, especially the ED and the main theme(Op was dope, too!). Art/Animation was equally glorious and delivered big time when it mattered. Plenty of shots in each and every episode were mesmerizing and just phenomenal, truly! Characterization, now this show didn’t delve in too much into that but again this show isn’t such s show, so no worries whatsoever. Just the usual Characters and I was satisfied through and through. All of the random comedy and hilarious reactions were on point. It was especially hilarious to see and listen to Rin’s monologues, Nadeshika’s “Oh...” like in the last episode, Aoi’s “just kidding” and Chiaki just being Chiaki. Saitou was a fabulous Character too, but sadly didn’t receive as much screentime as the other four. Saitou’s dog, though, was very adorable I must say. All in all, a top-notch series that easily makes it into my top list of anime shows.

About this finale episode, though, the 5 of the girls along with Toba-Sensei just enjoying themselves was a nice watch. All the delicious-looking food and amazing shots of scenery were perfect! Thank God I was having my Big Mac while watching the episode, otherwise my tummy would have sure grumbled throughout the scene. Mimicking Din’s hairstyle and just the whole scene was amazing to watch. Lol at Nadeshika’s hairstyle and her “Oh...” reaction after that selfie though. At the beginning of the episode though, the matured look of the girls got me perplexed but by the end of it, I was pleasantly surprised and actually let out a snort when we finally snapped back to reality and it turned out to be none other than Nadeshika’s delusions. I hope something like this happens in due time, though. Nadeshika going on a solo camp and meeting Rin by coincidence yet again as the same place they first met was brilliantly directed and was astonishing! She’s finally got a job too, at long last! I was hoping for a camping trip with old Gandpa but I guess that’ll have to wait, hope it’ll be answered in the 2md Season or the Movie.

Easily one of the most convincing 9/10 and into my top favorites!

Wow I got more sense of accomplishment from the ending of Yuru Camp than Sora Yori, it felt more of a "what a journey it was" than the latter. The friendship is even more solid than that of Sora Yori.

What a fantastic series, amazing iyashikei / pre-sleeping anime. All the while I haven't felt like it's done anything wrong at all in the series, great characters, great art, great characters interaction, great character quirks, well written script, great music, everything is so on point with this show.

If there's a knock to this series compared to other similar anime like Non Non Biyori, it's the fact that the premise is stuck with just camping. I know that's not all they do through out the story but at the end of the day, it comes down to camping. It doesn't allow for more creativity and fun compared to something like NNB where you're basically free to draw up anything you want. As good as the series is, it probably doesn't have much of a re-watch value to me, vs something like NNB, but it's a perfect show to watch to get yourself to fall asleep though, especially when the episode also ends with the girls falling asleep themselves while camping.

I also like that it paces itself well, by the end of the series the camping club is still with 3 members, it doesn't do it like many other shows that rush through the story and get all 5 in asap by the end of the first season.

Glad to see it's getting a season 2 and a movie, definitely well deserved. Can't believe I held back on watching this because I thought it's another Yama no Susume.

Fantastic cute girls show. The best one I've watched since K-On! (which is prob my second favourite franchise). Don't know why I waited so friggin long. I'm not sure I understand what it is about a cute girls show that makes it stand out for me. Probably relatable characters that always leave you smiling, but whatever it is, this show has it. One thing that blew me away that I would never have expected was the incredible ost. It was just so damn relaxing. Hats off to this and I'm stoked there is gonna be a season 2 and movie.

What a great ending, pretty predictable that they were going to be at the same campsite at the end. Nothing wrong about that though.

Ending was fantastic, it didn't leave you wanting for more(in the sense that it was underwhelming) or they didn't try to go over the top that leaves you on edge for a sequel(because that's not a proper ending). Also there wasn't any loose ends that were left unexplained. This was one of the best endings I've seen in any movie, tv show or anime.

Probably the best moment in this anime was in episode 2 when the doggie sent Rin to the shadowrealm. But by no means did the show go downhill from there. Really enjoyable watch.

If this was a different show Rin would probably have been hit by a car on her way to buy the gas after enjoying her first group camping, just for what would usually be predictable last episode drama. Fortunately Yuru Camp was so consistent with it's style and atmosphere, I never really expected the final episode to be or feel any different from the rest, and in this case that's a very good thing.

The first scene got me good. I feel stupid for not realizing it wasn't real until Nadeshiko showed up in a flying tent lmfao. That cracked me up.

This is honestly one of the best slice of life anime I've ever watched. Great relaxing soundtrack and beautiful backgrounds, cool characters (especially Nadeshiko and Rin), and an overall very relaxing atmosphere made this a great experience. 9/10

This was a nice series. I joked about Rin getting hit by a truck when going to get gas and I thought it was weird when she came back to the group with short hair so I assumed it just skipped to the future. Good ending with both Nadeshiko and Rin meeting back up and camping where they first met. I'll be looking forward to the second season.

My favourite episodes were the first few, but as the show went on I felt them get a little bland. Too much of the show can be summed up as "the girls react positively to something, usually food or scenery." The characters didn't really grow on me. I loved Rin from the start, and well I guess I liked Ena more and more as her screentime and interactions with the cast developed further.

My order for best girls goes

Rin > Ena > Aoi > Nadeshiko > Chiaki

This is a really comfy show to watch that I have to say for sure but at the end nothing special happened. What They did is just camping and stuff.

It is like ripoff of k-on but I would prefer k-on over this show because im k-on they at least have a goal to become a band but in here it feels nothing I'm sorry maybe it's not for me.

Nice episode, at first it seemed true what we have seen, we have cascaded for the umpteenth time in Nadeshiko's joke, eheheeh! The episoido's ending was fantastic, it marked a great step forward in the growth of Nadeshiko and Rin, and of the plot, I can't wait for the second season to start, now we're almost on the finishing line, yeah!

8/10, again.

Late post, but I finished watching Yuru Camp this year, and I can safely say that this has been one of the best slice-of-life shows I've ever watched, and I watched a good amount of slice-of-life shows in the past. Rin Shima is one of the coolest, most relatable character I've seen, and Nao Touyama has done exceptionally well capturing her stoicism while being sweet at the same time. All of the other characters are great as well, and the narrator was helpful by giving the viewers some food and camping tips. I personally think this is easily one of the best anime in 2018, and I really can't wait for the 2nd season.

I wouldn't exactly said potential but Yuru Camp had many good elements; the art was nice and backgrounds is breathtaking at times, same soundtracks are used many times but instead being repetitive, it ended up being iconic, the camping stuff were very educative, told in various way and very easy to understand, Characters bar some anime cliche is behaving like person in real life and the way relationship between Rin and Nadeshiko are growing very naturally. So credit where its due for the overall execution.

But there's something that hold me up to enjoy this anime tremendously I feel. Mainly for the usage of the setting, now there are many beautiful camping place and location in Japan were introduced throughout the series, I'm not surprised if this is one of the highlight and reason for the anime (It makes me want to go to Japan even more tbh). I was hoping to see more exploration for said locations, instead what I got here is just scenes of cute girl cooking, eating and making commentary about the food being delicious for roughly 7-8 minutes in every episodes. It really become my main gripe of the show.

With that all said, it wasn't bad anime but it's kinda dissapointing. Maybe I'm watching the anime in a wrong way, but hey I'm watching anime for myself not for the others.

this anime was pretty nice, chill story and very nice vibe overall. i really like the art on this one and it was quite well done, same goes for the soundtrack too. also, it seems like none of the male characters got over 2 minutes of screen time which was pretty cool.

overall this anime was a 7.7/10 (rounded to 8) going to be keeping up with the second season coming out soon.

Man, it's such a pleasure to be able to relive this world right before the start of Season 2. It's been two years since my first watch but it is just as good!

Too many good segments to note but some of the standouts for me include the future dream of Nadeshiko's xD, mimicking Rin's hairstyle followed by Nadeshiko's insane style and smug, onsen, selfie and night-time videos, part time job for Nadeshiko and lastly the striking similarity of Nadeshiko to Rin's camping in episode 1. Best though is the last moment when Nadeshiko realised they met up at the very same spot by entire coincidence once again.

I'm so looking forward to more of this! 2021 can't come soon enough. How fitting that this season ended sometime around the end of the year, it's literally that now!

Wonderful series ended up with a wonderful last episode. Full duration watched them chill, make me fell into an infinite world of laid-back, ngl. Toba-sensei actually had no boy, good clarifications, sensei. Its her imouto-san. Yeah, like i guess from that previous episode, but i can't said it out loud there (thats a lies!).

Chikuwa couldn't make it through the whole night which make me a little sad. Therefore, that funny dream from Nadeshiko at the beginning somehow closed my little sad. Together with Nadeshiko news that finally found a part-time works, and then those post-credit scene to their time-skip together camping again. Ah, that's sweet! Started and ended with the same location, the same meeting, just two of them. Its a fate!

Okay, its time for my final scores. Heres some points that might be my biased reason: eye-catchy arts, fine animation, wonderful laid-back base stories, simple plot, easy-listening soundtracks, fun opening theme, relaxing ending theme, great characterization, nice characters, chilling theme, and most importantly, its just cute. What else? Guess, its already enough. To be honestly, its just suit well to the masterpiece. However, per my standard to the highest cgcdt typical, 9/10 just enough to put an end to this.

Thats it all from me!
