^ The above pic is not from the "date in snow" episode, so I guess the ep gets mixed up by the initial poster.

Anyway, this episode is based on the place Kamitaira http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kamitaira,_Toyama It is great to see those Gasshou-zukuri traditional farm houses (which are listed as UNESCO World Heritage) and the Kokuriko Dance. The photos at the end showed the real life actions that get depicted in the anime. Even the color and the pattern of the dress of the dancers are replicated in the anime.

Best dialogue: "Going out means a desire to want to be together with the one you love more and be closer. And we have been close, so our relationship won't change. It won't get spoiled."
So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old?

I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them?

I wonder how long people would put up with this.

As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series.

That was a nice ending. Everyone gets that feeling when you are friends with a person for a long time, but you don't want anything to change when you start being in a relationship with that person.

Aoi and Haru both confess their love. Looks like Aoi didn't want a relationship to ruin their friendship but they decided to go out with each other.

Ha! Poor Aoi. I felt her embarrassment when he started singing out to her. I would have pushed him in the snow too. Nice ending.

Lol I know right! It was cute, but definitely embarrassing. I liked what Haruki said, "being in a relationship is about living good and bad times, right?" He sounds like an expert in love! :D

Anyways, really like seeing the setting in these two episodes. I'm always so interested by the photos they show in the credits, makes me want to go visit these places one day.

See!? That's so simple, and it's a thousand more cuter than some of the long running romance animes I've watched. That was so cute! >///<

Haruki x Aoi | 8/10
Childhood friends since kids, their relationship as lovers only develops after Aoi's friend, Shiori asks her if she likes Haruki, which leads Shiori to confess to him.
After he reveals to Aoi of the confession he received and rain pours on them, rushing together to shelter, she notices a frog sculpture which she's never did before now which brings her to say "Sometimes things are too close to notice, huh?" ... which later makes him realize his own feelings for her.
The next day, he confesses to her, and 4 months later, she's been timid and distant while avoiding him. On a trip, Shiori confronts her which forces Aoi to reveal her true feelings since childhood and her insecurities of delusion in thinking he doesn't really love her, which he overheard behind her.
As Shiori and Haruki's friends leave them together, turning around to him embarrassed, he sings out loud his love for her to kill her embarrassment and comforts her of their relationship. She cheerfully sings her own declaration of love back.

It's not as complex as the first couple, but it's sweet in its cliche simplicity, with a nice symbolism of sculpting her a frog the next day after she said that, as a sign of him realizing his love for her.
