| It seems Doflamingo is aware of Kuma's mystery... However we will probably have to wait until Vegapunk's appearance to get a real disclosure on the subject. Anyway, I loved Buggy trying to top Whitebeard. He is such an idiot xD And Boa... no one wants to see that woman mad... And unfortunately, no script translation as of yet. :( Still, the beginning of this chapter really depicted the mayhem of this war. Oda has done an excellent job in portraying that and even there are so many characters (big name players) that are participating in the war, it feels like Oda has adequately spent time on all of them and I have the feeling that all of them are participating at full. Great stuff, really. And the last page with what DoFlamingo said about "Kuma not being the person you once knew" definitely plays to the theory that's been swirling about on message boards that Kuma's remaining humanity was finally erased by Vegapunk or his cyborg modifications. Of course, we still don't know anything about it, but if this is indeed true, Kuma must have known about it back at Saobody and more importantly, was there anything he could have done to prevent it. And of course, Boa <3 |
| Great Chapter once again. The theory about Vegapunk erasing Kumas last bit of his mind after the Shabaody incident makes really good sence. Anyways were talking bout One Piece and i wouldnt be surprised if Oda comes up with something totally different xD. Best thing about the chap is seeing Smoker in action again cause hes one of the coolest chars. Loved the little action between Smoker and Luffy. I really hope for a real 1 on 1 fight between them. |
| Hm I don't really think Kuma is dead... but we'll have to wait and see. Doflamingo could be talking about the death of his mind as vindemon mentioned. Smoker should seriously get more screen time, hes such an awesome character but largely forgotten after the loguetown incident. On the other hand Buggy is starting to irritate me, he should just disappear for awhile. He should realize by now those people he rescued from the jail are all much stronger than him (well, actually it is them who should start realizing Buggy is a weak piece of shit) And, yay for Luffy's reunion with Hancock. |

The whole Hancock scene was freaking amazing, so glad she stopped smoker, ugh so good. The whole Kuma dead at the end thing took me by total surprise, it isn't that surprising after what he did to help the Strawhats, but with the dialogue from Iva last week i thought for sure he would've been alive. Great Chapter, Oda never ceases to amaze me. |

| Buggy is really such an awesome character lol, I don't see why most people hate him 0_0. Oh! and another awesome chapter this week. hJ said: If Flamingo is right then I think Kuma is dead and Vegapunk transformed that body in to Pacifista I think Kuma was most probably killed by the Marines or the Government and then he was made into a pacifista and I think during the process they brainwashed kuma. sounds stupid and silly but that's the only logical explanation I can think of why he doesn't remember Iva. |

| another awesome chapter Boa coming to the rescue was priceless. Donflamingo's comment being dead was interesting I too agree he probably got brainwashed maybe that's what Kuma meant that he will never see luffy again because he knew what was going to happen after the incident in Shabody. |

| 1) On the cover, Zoro has his 3 katanas back in the graveyard, and walking past a sword in the ground with a bent quillion. Clearly not one of Zoro's 3 katanas. 2) Let the Kuma theories run wild. I don't remember the real Kuma shooting beams out of his mouth... but it didn't seem to surprise Ivankov. This one looked more like a Pacifista... but has the Bible that has been used in prior chapters to differentiate the real Kuma. 3) There's no such thing as a bad Hancock scene. |

| Yup, it's probably the memories. though the question now is, when did kuma 'die' - is it from when Vegapunk first turned Kuma into a cyborg, or was it from recently, when Kuma 'disobeyed' the marines and allowed the SH to escape? I suspect it's the former (especially considering his intro in TB), which leads me to believe that he might still have some of his memories/personality left. Next, Ace's attitude in this chapter completely addressed his 'whiny' reactions to people saving him (which is completely understandable, btw), and shows great maturity from him - he's better than Robin at least. Also, WB was shown to be a great commander, very tactical but also decisive, both in commanding troops and also allying with Buggy (wtf?). I'm glad good logic was used in the latter, but I honestly didn't think Oda could make Buggy stand out this much. But he did, and that's why Oda's great. p.s. I don't like that Hancock has to fight someone so lowly like Smoker, she should fight stronger people. But this would make it ok: HouKi_bOshI said: When will Luffy master the Haki ?!?
