It's a 10 year age gap, do note that dale was in his teens when he met latina.
Also Dale took it slow in transitioning his relationship with Latina from a guardian to something romantic. It's a medieval society, so it isn't unlikely for relationships of the sort where there's such an age gap. Admittedly tho it got really excessive sweet towards the end of the series.

I do not think it is weird at all. I think the age gap interracial romance is wholesome and cute. Also the girl is a demon, so human law doesn't apply to her, she may live hundreds of years, if tht happens, later on he'll be the younger one, and during the time period the anime plot is happening, i'm sure a lot of husbands took care of their wives until they were of marrigeable age. I do not find it weird at all for them to have feelings for each other. Becuse they have no blood ties and the girl will eventually grown up, and the romance will start when she's grown up.

It would have been weird if he dated her in her young age and if he was her step bro, or her real father or family or if he was married or registered her with his family name.
Other than that, i love me some good ol' age gap romance. Those who find it weird and regard it as incest while it isn't should read smtg else maybe?

It’s weird as fuck raising a girl only to bone her. I don’t care Latina have feelings for him and don’t consider Dale as her parent. Dale as the adult in this situation should know better than to bone her once she come of age. So far the only manga/anime I’ve found that doesn’t pull the Usagi Drop is Somali and the Forest Spirit and from the looks of it, they don’t seem like they’ll do that Romance crap since the father in this case is a golem (looks like it’s going to have a sad ending).

I agree with few who understands the love and knows more about adult stories and their way of thinking... Though I agree with the point where someone mentioned that there are manga focussing mainly in hentai and ecchi things...But from this one I only got the feeling of love more than anything...This is not about Ba**ging someone's close ones but this is more the way how the feelings attribute to different affection and from an adult point of view...So little ones will not be able to understand such change in affections that we can have towards the ones we are very close...This was not even close to those hyperbolic mangas that makes you wonder what the writer was thinking while writing such Percy scenes...This was all Love, affection and pure dedication... Everything was hinted at begging of the story...When they met...When they visited their Homeland and when the people close to them even at the bar started to feel their growing affection...This was probably because Dale was not actually her father and he is just 11 years older than her...Also she already had a good father and she loved her very much...She don't need to call everyone who meets and save her as father...And even though she is small at the moment she will certainly become a fine young woman after few years...But the affection she had for Dale since the beginning is not that of a father...You can see it when he tries to kiss her on her cheeks and she gets embarrassed... Because she is not his daughter...
If you guys still don't get it then... Think of it like: You found a young girl (age 9) on the street one day and tell her that she is your daughter...Go and see her when she will be aged 19. And tell me if you will be able to say her the same thing again...This is for young ones not for older people...Try this

And for those who still don't support this...Make sure you are not one in a million...I hope not... Because then it would mean there are very few people like you out there and it doesn't matter...But on the other hand...Think of it like this....You have a good relationship with one of your friend from childhood and that relationship is more like a brother and sister but your parents don't see it that way and actually wants you to marry with that someone...You are not actually brother and sister and never have you said this to one another but your feelings are always like that...Even though you had a brother sister love since childhood would you still marry each other???
Had to break this to you, but people in this world of yours may think like this...But not everywhere... People think differently... Everywhere... Otherwise we wouldn't have been able to advance our technology and brain...
NOTE: And as I said all of this was hinted from the beginning...which means that you should have atleast got an idea about this...But the fact that none of you got that idea or hint from the beginning and still read this much means you guys are nuts in the brain part...means you have very low level of thinking...And low level doesn't have to do with MORALS...morals are made up by humans but still they exist only to make us realise that we are not humans unless we follow those morals...I mean a person who need to rely on made up things are not even a human from get go...We all are just slaves of someone's thinking... Don't enslave your mind and get the hell out there...

It's easy for you guys to point you fingers at someone... After all our generation and the previous one don't even know the difference between pure love and lust...They always mix both of them...Love and lust are two different part of the same coin...It may or may not show the different side...But live is always pure...You don't need to have S** with someone to show your love...In love you might feel a little bit of lust but if your live is pure then you can stay with your partner just by staying close to them...There is not much physical attention needed rather than kissing each other...This is a different generation so I can't expect you guys to know the difference between love and lust...BUT LET ME MAKE MY POINT CLEAR...I DIDN'T GOT ANY FEELING OF LUST FROM THEIR RELATIONSHIP AO FAR...ALL I GOT WAS PURE LOVE AND I REALLY APPRECIATE THIS WRITER WHO THINKS BETTER THAN OTHER HENTAI ADULTS...I GOT TO UNDERSTAND DIFFERENT FEELINGS AND THOUGH I KNOW THIS ALREADY I GOT UNDERSTAND LOVE MORE...ALL of your pointing fingers at this should first see if what the know about live is the same as this or their level of thinking is twisted like others...Even animals have clear vision of love...Their ways are different than us...But more importantly we can think for ourselves but they are same as the nature have made them...We should be able to understand love BETTER than any other being...
