| Oh dear god, you can just tell Ainz is not pleased with their answer. It's almost like he gave them a get out of jail free card too. Had any of them said they were going to Nazarick for unselfish reasons he might've tried to stop them or advise against it. But he basically accepted their petty answer as an "ok, so that's your choice". |
| That was way too much exposition and way too many new characters thrown at me for me to give a damn about any of them, or to care about much of this episode. However, I'm interested to see how the expedition to Nazarick unfolds and what Ains will do once they get there. It's going to be a bloodbath, isn't it? |
| this is one big pile of death flag isn’t it?, at least save some of them, Arche is too cute to died in next episode, rest of them can though. it’s amazing that Ainz can both be an enemy and a friend, just to make everything under his control, that’s a true Overlord for you, grasp them in the palm of your hand. | Just a second... That mage dude said that if he could control the death knight he'd be the most powerful mage in the world. But we see the necromancer from season 1 summon a freaking dracolich. Does that mean the death knight is stronger than the dracolich?? Or is it just that the necromancer from season 1 was a much more powerful wizard, and this new guy is full of BS? If that's explained in the light novel then please someone enlighten me (I don't think this counts as spoiler, but you can use spoiler tags if needed). Also, 100% sure that girl with the eyes that can see magic levels was just added to make expositional dialogue inside Nazarick and then later report what she's seen once everyone else is dead. |

He needed to use the orb he was carrying around to summon it. |

I'm going off memory here so I could be mistaken, but I assume the main Nazarick tomb isn't hidden which is why they wanted a second, dummy version built. |

| Ah, another episode of overlord where for 20 minutes they once again build up trash characters while i'm just sitting here with my feet on my desk, eyes closed just listening with my headphones on until those same trash characters they build up for episodes long will die. (Which is when i actually open my eyes since something actually happened). Overlord has been on a nice streak though 6 episodes of nothing, has to be a record. I'm thinking of becoming a novel writer myself Maruyama has inspired me and shown me that it really isn't all that hard. Just build up one dimensional boring trash characters and simply make the main character (who is the only interesting character and is also going to be the hardest part to write about) kill them in a matter of minutes. |
| Just a buildup episode unfortunately. I really don't need action all the time, but they "wasted" almost the entire episode on boring side characters once again. After already spending 5 from 13 episodes on a sidestory, instead of finishing that one in 3 episodes so they have 10 episodes left for the really good stuff. Seems like this season will once again waste a lot of potential, just like season 2 did T_T |
| A fairly dull episode. Only at the end could I truly see that it was a build-up episode. Still I didn't feel they've done a very good job fleshing out the kingdoms, politics and players involved. |

Way better than those shitty Enri Emmot/Carne Village episodes. 0. We know from earlier on that Nazarick is no longer hidden (or am I mistaken?) 1. Demiurge hatched a plan to announce the kingdom of nazarick. 2. All of those adventurers have been contracted to attack a 'mysterious ruin' that has appeared near a 'quiet village' near the border of Baharuth. Obviously that's Nazarick. 3. Put Ainz's involvement with those adventurers, and 1 + 2 together: Those adventurers are obviously going to attack Nazarick, and are going to be instrumental in the declaration of the kingdom of Nazarick. Ainz is definitely going to give them a theatrical display of power, just like with the lizard men. 4. '200 year old war with the evil creatures' = foreshadowing Nazarick's war on the world. It's happening. My own question: What do you guys think Ainz's relationship is with that sorcerer Fluder/Fluger/whatever-his-name-is. Apparently he has a death knight in his possession, communicates with Ainz, and has the ability to measure magical powers with his sight (meaning he might know how powerful Ainz is). Edit: Oh, so it must've been through Fluder this entire expedition was set up for the adventurers. He must have a lot of resources considering his ranking as head sorcerer of the empire, and how he has his own little cult. He's our inside guy. |

Now I might be wrong since it's been a while since I've read it, but YGGDRASIL's Death Knights are really quite OP for the current world. So yeah it's probably stronger than the skeletal dragon. |

Just watched it. Must've been a manga-reader that pointed it out Even if I noticed the one visible ear during the 2 second clip they were shown, I probably wouldn't have judged them to be elves. |
| Good buildup episode, looks like we’re in for an awesome ride this arc! Many characters were introduced in this single episode, and the Workers, in particular, taking the norm as a few death flags were present here and there. I’m also curious to see how the Kingdom’s search of the Demon and Momonga goes. |

| I really liked the world building in this episode but reading all the comments I get the feeling that something bad's about to happen in the next episode. I hope that some of the newly assembled team make it back alive though. Especially that kindly, religious man. Ah, bless! |
| I really like Bloody Emperor, Empire and Foresight Workers and their stories. There are one of best Overlord characters, in my humble opinion. |

| Lol Ains is Momon again and he's now in the empire doing adveturer's job. But how is this going to help establish Nazarick as a country though? Wanna send a message? Attack both the Kingdom and the Empire and right before you win, back out. That should do it lol. But anyway I sure am glad to see people being impressed at simply looking at Ains aka Momon. I picture an adamantite adventurer as someone who's attained the level and skill cap and therefore have no longer need of any improvement but idk Ygdrassil is just too complicated compared to your typical mmorpg. |
