| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Heh, Sasuke catching up with Boruto. It's like the old times again. I think the most priceless reaction was Sakura'as though. She practically fainted! It seems Boruto is also in a better mood now this episode since Himawari's birthday. I'm guessing Boruto reminds Sasuke of Naruto but he still has a lot to work on. |

| Sasuke is back but this time he will be Boruto's teacher. Boruto's training reminded me of Naruto when he was trying to learn Rasengan. He did just in couple of days, that talent.Sasuke already noticed that something is fishy about the device. That Sakura reaction lmao |

| Well, it was inevitable that it was to be a recap of it's movie counterpart; if not, it would've been extended content -of which, because we know where it's heading, is going to be pointless if it doesn't add to the future storyline (or the extended segments give better info regarding the current situation). The positive of this episode was that there was good portion coverage taken from the movie; glad to see they ain't pulling any punches, going on ahead Sakura's reaction was the best though, I don't recall it from the movie (obviously not, it minor compared to the scale of the movie). Nonetheless, great implementation of comic relief -though the scenes prior weren't that intense anyway I really badly wanna see Naruto in action though; to date they've green giving him some minor cameo-like appearances, same with sasuke - the best bit of action as today's recap, shouldn't count. With the Shin arc, the spotlight was on Sakura P.S. Can't wait for naruto to humiliate boruto on the chunnin exams |

| Only redeeming part of this episode was the EPIC fight of Sasuke vs Kinshiki Otsutsuki! For sure they put a lot of budget just for that cool animation! Other than that, the episode follows exactly faithful adaptation of manga! like Boruto wanting to be a student of Sasuke! and lolz at Sakura fainting because of Sudden Sasuke being home which is extremely rare! And of course Boruto Rasengan training! We're on the right track on manga because we are here on the scientific ninja tool! We also get to see Orochimaru advising Mitsuki not to show his true strength at the Chuunin exams! 5/5. |

At least this arc is not going to get super stretched, and we'll finally see what's supposed to happen after the exam, without reading the manga, which is nice. |
| Guys, this is an adaptation, it was obvious that they would not make a drastic change in the plot. But this episode, for example, made changes in the scene of Boruto's encounter with Sasuke and in the scene of the fight against Kinshiki. Also added scenes of Sasuke finding the parchment, Boruto cooking which led him to understand the rasengan, Sasuke coming home and Mitsuki talking to Orochimaru. In my opinion this adaptation is doing better than the manga and the movie did. And yes, I think they are reusing some scenes from the movie as the basis of the animation, but I do not see any problem in that. I think the biggest changes we will see will be in the Chuunin exam fights. And probably in the final fight, since we will have Urashiki in there. |

| THE only times boruto is somewhat sympathetic/relatable is when himawari is around also in this episode sakura had screentime and even one line of dialogue so she already did more then during all of shippuden. |
| Any episode with Sasuke in it is a good episode. Him kicking Boruto in the gut was great. He's now his teacher, but he suspects that Boruto is cheating. The fight in the beginning was pretty cool. |

| As expected it's mostly familiar content from the movie but I don't mind seeing it again. The small additions are nice as well. The fight between Sasuke and Kinshiki was hype again, and I personally don't care if they reused the movie footage. Why bother re-animating what you already have? Like the person a few posts above me mentioned, I was hoping they would extend Boruto's Rasengan training. In the war arc at the age of 16 he had his shadowclones use shadowclones to fight against fckn madara also he charged his chakra (with the help of the nine tails which he still has) twice with the entire shinobi alliance and after fighting madara obito and the ten tails he still fought kaguya and Sasuke without taking a break so mere office work can't exhaust him to the point that he collapses ffs. |

| Yeahhhhhhh the man is learning Rasengan, the official attack of the Uzumaki family. Very nice stuff with Sasuke and Boruto too. Looking forward to the movie stuff and some good action from there, still love the ending song and visuals. |

| Boruto just had to “cheat” his way into proving himself... It just like everything was going good and then he just had to lie! Luckily Sasuke noticed I’m ready for Boruto to break down. Anyways a good episode. I haven’t watch the Boruto movie but I could definilty tell that, that fight Sasuke did was not from this show... it was just more movie-ish |

| Hmm so thats how Boruto met Sasuke. But Naruto sure is a hard position though having to balance his workload with his family. A reason why Kaguya acted as she did huh. The reason will probably be because of that clan that they have started to face. Hmm harsh as he is Sasuke's advice sure helped make Boruto focus. Sakura and Sarada's reaction at seeing Sasuke though was hilarious. It was nice that we got to see Boruto and Himawari enjoy some quality time together. Still looks like Boruto's training is going pretty well. I wonder when the tie in to the move will happen though. Pretty soon i imagine. |

| Don't know if the version I saw was a bad translation, a misunderstanding on my part, more battles I didn't know about happening or an error in the series itself but Shikamaru said it's been 10 years since the great ninja wars... my question is how? Unless they lowered the graduation age to 7 or 8 and lace their food with chakra enhanced hormones I see that as impossible when Boruto should be 12 and was born at least 2 or 3 years after the war. |
