("you said "unironically" in 2018 as well" - yes I did) Apparently it started as a term to describe people who want equality and fight against discrimination. Then it became a term for tumblr LGBTQ+ community, then the right started using it to describe anyone with leftist beliefs and I even see people from the far right who call anyone with less radical beliefs an "SJW" no matter what his political views are. I would say it's close to the evolution of the word "cuck" which turned from a fetish some people have into anyone who's not an alt-right. @Ekaen @Ryuuryota @Comic_Sans Same question? |
