Do you Binge watch a entire anime series or do you take it slowly? Or both?

I myself do both. I like to binge a series more though.
In my mind, I think that I want to finish a series as quick as possible so I can get on to other series.
But I know that rushing though a series can be bad and watching it slowly could be better.
So how do you watch your anime?

I'm REALLY bad at binge watching series since I get distracted by literally anything else. I'm better at binging (bingeing?) when I'm watching a series with someone else since it stops me from being tempted to tab over to reddit / YT etc.

I used to binge everything, but I ended up watching so much, I got burnt out from anime. So I watch slowly now.

I have noticed when I binge I tend to forgot things easier though.

Binge it if it is really interesting and I can't stop.

Otherwise I would watch it slowly and not get bored after episode 3 if I tried to binge it.

I will choose a binge watch. because watching a series with a long time does not make me comfortable.
but, what does that mean by watching it slowly? by watching it day by day? or without skipping it?
if not, I'll vote with both. because I prefer to watch quickly, leading to the next episode or the next series. but not skipping every minute even when opening and closing.

I actually suspect part of the reason people get so sick of some familiar tropes in anime is that they're letting the various series "run together", which encourages cross-comparison and reduces the "personalization" of one's experience of each series. Combine this with a little impatience for entertainment, and you end up with a very superficial perspective that everything seems samey unless it's really radically different...and confusing creativity with novelty.

Depends, I can binge a show if I feel like it, or I can watch it slowly. What my mood or what I feel for the show is the factor.

For the most part, I like to watch an episode a day for any (already aired) TV series. Sometimes two in a day if it's the last couple of episodes in a season or something. This is partly because of school and work reasons, but I also just prefer to space it out a little and let myself "digest" what I've watched / think on what last happened.

I prefer to watch slowly since watching more than 2 episodes in one sitting gives me a headache

I've binged every show I watched so far. I'm actually trying to watch weekly this time now since I don't have as much time b/c life. So far I'm watching Nanatsu no Taizai every week and I actually like watching a new episode every week. When spring break comes though, I'll probably binge hardcore that whole week.

For seasonals, I watch once a week. For non-airing shows, I watch (at max) one episode per day. I find that the more I enjoy a show, the more I slow down my pace. The main reason is that, after a particularly splendid episode, I like taking the time to mull over what occurred and theorize what possible decisions that the characters would make. Recent examples would be Arakawa Under the Bridge (26 episodes finished in approximately 42 days) and Basilisk (24 episodes finish in approximately 31 days).

I watch slowly in that way I can enjoy the story more but sometimes binge watching can also work so both.

I used to primarily watch slowly, but over time I've found that if I don't binge something, it takes forever for me to get back to it.

I guess I'm always just more interested in starting something new than going back, but it's resulted in putting a lot of shows I was genuinely enjoying on hold.

If i find the story to be interesting then i watch all the episodes very quickly, most of the times.
But if just watching 2-3 episodes of an anime in a row makes me feel like i could be doing something better/more entertaining then i would rather watch that anime slowly.

I used to binge watch everything, and I wish I still could. However, life has gotten busy and I just can't allocate the time to do so in a natural way, so when I actually do watch something, it ends up being pretty slow. I'll have some time this summer and I will 100% be binge watching some shit.

Depends on the series and my amount of free time. The more I enjoy it the faster I watch it is kind of a given. Ie. Episodic series I'm much more likely to take my time with because they can be watched relatively independently of other episodes and can easily break up the monotony of a binge or a dull day.

Can't really explain but whether I choose to binge or watch slowly is all up to my mood and the anime's appeal.

I do both but depends on a number of things, such as:

- If I'm watching the show with others or just by myself
- What my mood is
- What kind of show it is (one of my own choosing, a challenge show, etc.)
- How much I am enjoying the show so far
- If I'm doing other things while watching (such as drawing or filling in challenges)

20-25 episodes = 5 days

11-13 couple days

It has been like that for as long as I remember.

Watch slowly. If I binge it, then I might not remember much about the anime in the future when looking back, and I prefer to take my time.

And besides, stuff like episodic anime are hard to binge.

Binge watching is a million times better.

This is why Netflix is so goddamn popular.

No one wants to wait week after week for new episodes...Let's fucking go already!

I usually don't binge watch because usually there's always other things for me to do (e.g. studying). Most of the times I take my time and watch slowly.

Both since if a series is running, you are not left with much of a choice but to take it slow.

I prefer binge watch but sometimes I watch it slowly especially if it's an on-going series.

If it's a completed one, I should binge watch it or I might leave it unfinished since I get pretty bored with series fast.

Depends on the series mostly. I binge a lot, but with some anime its just a lot better to take it slow.

I don't care, if it's a seasonal I'll watch it slowly but if it's already aired then I'll usually binge watch it (if I have the time) I really don't have a preference either way.

Completely depends on my mood.

There are times I want to watch anime non-stop but there are times I want to anime for like few episodes then I want to do something else such as playing games.

If it's episodic or the plot isn't number one priority, you can watch it slowly. Otherwise, I usually binge watch. If I see something interesting airing, I usually wait for it to finish first.
