Kenja no Mago does it again ! Volume 6 sales ranked on 11th.

I am someone that would like to watch a Harem Anime with 2 male leads that each gets their own harem company of girls from the main cast. For example, 1st male lead gets a company of 4 girls and 2nd male lead gets 2-3 girls etc.

For that week's rankings, I find it intriguing that both Darling in the Franxx and Kenja no Mago are both ranked 10th and 11th in sales, considering that both series have a lot of settings in its story that are similar. I will list those points below :

1. Both are not harem genre manga.

2. DITF's MC have up to 10 comrades in his side of around the same age as the MC including the MC, that are all fighting against the enemies. The cast is gender equal due to the Franxx pairings. Kenja no Mago's MC has up to 12 comrades in his side of around the same age as the MC including the MC, that are all fighting against the enemies. The cast is also gender balanced like in DITF, with 6 males including the MC, and 6 females including MC's girl. All of them are teens of same age as the MC. I didn't include the number of adult characters in DITF and Kenja no Mago due to the fact that those adults don't interact much with the MC nor do they fight together with the MC against enemies.

A difference between DITF and Kenja no Mago in Point 2, is the fact that most male characters in DITF are not particularly likeable except for Gorou, while Kenja no Mago has more male characters other than the MC that are more likeable, such as the Prince, Julius, Tony, etc.....

Of course, it's not that I really hate that much Zorome from DITF, as that title goes to Mitsuru, it's just that I compare Zorome to the male cast in Mago, and I found that no males in Mago has a personality as rambunctious as Zorome, which might be due to the fact that most male characters in Mago are all sons of aristocrats or royalty, so they are much more well-mannered and behaved. If Zorome gets some character development and becomes more mature and more loving of his partner Miku, then I might change my opinion of him later, during possible future Anime episodes.
