seriously getting rid of best boy of the season like this? pretty anticlimatic for a rabbit but then again it seems to be a rule of thumb for bunnies to be nerfed everywhere.

Well when Usagi bit his own tongue, almost too obvious he made himself a zombie. Probably he'll come back in many pieces for that numbers advantage. And Saru's really strong.
Not sure to feel bad for Tiger, she kinda brought it on herself into a simple minded drunk. Her teamup with Ox quite cool with the odd zombie fight. Tho CG parts some were weird...maybe fix in bd.
Rat's about forgotten...

I don't think Rabbit is dead..

his dead friends don't die unless burned, I expect he doesn't either.

What the fuck happened with the animation? CGI? Really...

This show had so much potential. I feel cheated. :(
Terrible episode.
The fate of destruction is also the joy of rebirth.

The rabbit obviously isn't dead, since he bit his own tongue before getting "killed".

But w/ever, it's obvious the Rat is going to win anyway.

Tiger had a hard life as well, all that she trusted was right felt into pieces in the battlefield.

I can't believe Rabbit is dead with just that...all his body pieces might attack them next time.
It's kinda unfair that Rat is doing nothing to win it and is alive...or maybe he is working in secret since the begging...

Dragon's death was funny. It was fast and yeah, Rabbit may still be alive.

How in the fuck is this made by the same creator of the Monogatari series? He must have been drunk as hell while writing this.

Another bad episode. First, the anticlimatic death of Dragon, i never care about that character to begin. Second, Tiger's flashback is a bit force, why a martial arts specialist needs to be a soldier? That's don't make any sense, soldiers use weapons!!. Third, no flashback to Rabbit, nevermind i also never like that character (i think he is not dead). 2/5

All weebs creatures of the galaxy, hear this message. Those of you who listen will not be struck by western animation. You will no longer know hunger, nor pain. Your Anime have come to lead you now. Our strength shall serve as a luminous sun toward which all intelligence may blossom. And the impervious shelter beneath which you will prosper. However, for those who refuse our offer and cling to their western animation ways… For you, there will be great wrath.

After all of that, Dragon goes out like a bitch and so does Usagi? No way Usagi is dead...

I understand the CGI being used during the fight scenes (because it made for one of the most dynamic looking fights so far in the show [excluding all of boar’s fights in the first episode]) aside from that though, why’d they use it during the talking scenes and during the backstory. And why did all the characters have to be involved in wars? Is that the only way to become a good fighter or something?

The deaths for Rabbit and Dragon were once again anticlimactic, even so, I can’t bring myself to hate the show. The episode was 3/5

They might be saving Usagi's backstory for a Season 2 or maybe even an OVA, there's been rumors of both.

She's the saner version of Boar's sister. No major inconsistency,

Well written episode.

And still, Bill will live on.
He will befriend the next inhabitants of the earth, beings of light who revere him as a god.
And Bill will outlive them all... for millions and millions of years...exploring, learning, living,
until the earth is swallowed beneath his feet.
Until the sun is long since gone.
Until time loses all meaning and the moment comes that he knows only the positions of the stars
and sees them whether his eyes are closed or open.
Until he forgets his name and the place where he'd once come from.
He lives and he lives until all of the lights go out.

I'm going with the "Usagi isn't dead" team!
Or rather, he's going to still try to kill others as a corpse.

No way Rabbit is dead... characters that haven't got their backstory yet are protected by plot armor... probably just pretending to be dead so he can ambush Tiger.

The CGI was pretty good though...

Interesting backstory, muddled by the fact we know she'll die soon, so obviously. And, she didn't even have any interesting things before the backstory, no build-up, or prior attachment, so why should I care? Welp, it was entertaining, at the very least.

As others have said, Usagi'll probably just wake up after that. Maybe, he's a modified human/artificial human?

I didn't have a care in the world for Tiger up until this episode. I felt her backstory. As someone who's fallen into a certain vice (not alcoholism) in the past, it hit me hard. So I'm guessing she's the next to go, but that's fine. I've found a lot more entertainment out of Juuni Taisen for the characters' backstories, personalities and motivations than for the action or for whoever wins it all. Although I would have preferred to see it handled differently, seeing whoever dies next coming doesn't bother me too much.

Chicken remains my favorite for her backstory, personality and "character development", and Rabbit is close behind with his special power bringing an extremely interesting kick to the show, but I'll be damned if Tiger's story didn't grab me deep, deep inside.

I'm not convinced at all that Rabbit is dead.
He is a necromancer and Monkey's body is still roaming around.
There is no way that doesn't up playing a part in the finale.

Gotta say the dispatching of Usagi was a bit of a let down. Monkey's assessment was of his abilities was correct. I thought he was Zombie himself tbh. My money is on rat ftw.
