| Well to go through my top 5... Hikigaya, Hachiman He's just sooo easy to identify with for me and as far as I know for a lot of other people here as well. His quotes are also awesome and can be used quite often in real life as well. Overall this character changed a bit how I think about friendship and society and my own insecurities. Araragi, Koyomi He's pretty unique as a MC imo, he has a strong personality but we also often see his weak sides, especially when making decisions. Most of the time he's calm and has interesting views on the world which collide with other people's and lead to great conversations. I also like his design a lot and he's a bit of a pervert like me ^^ Donquixote, Doflamingo I think I like him so much because he's pretty much the opposite of me. Badass, confident, strong, doesn't give a crap about what other people say. He's also an asshole, but sometimes those are just the most fun characters to watch. Also has one really really good quote that I love. Yagami, Light As stupid as it sounds, Light actually motivated me to get better in school since he kinda showed me what you can do if you're smart. Might seem stupid to most people but hey, maybe I'm just stupid as well. I loved watching his plans unfold and actually wanted him to win haha. Levi A calm and strong leader. Also has some badass scenes and quotes. His past was also one of the best things I ever watched in anime, soooo well done. |

| Natsume Takashi from Natsume Yuujinchou. There's something about his gentle and kind attitude that I really admire. Also how he's always going out of his way for the sake of helping the youkais his grandmother caught in the past and how he is always nice to people despite how he's keeping things to himself. Wolfgang Grimmer from Monster for similar reason. It's also because of his smile and his dark past... There's something about his smile and his niceness that speak really loudly to me and I could relate (you will understand if you have read/watched Monster). He is often acting all alone yet always nice and kind to stranger, even if Subaru, Okabe, and Satoru for being trapped in a loop of time and sufferings for the sake of saving people who are dear to them. I also love their confident and cheerful personalities. Suu-won from Akatsuki no Yona (don't judge) mostly because of personal reason. I have been separated with my old best friends (we are girls though) in so I could relate to the conflict between both him and Hak and Yona, but I symphatize mostly to his relationship with Hak. Also because of how he was a nice and effeminate kid in the past who admires Hak as his goal, and now he's able to stand as a king yet his relationship with Hak and Yona is broken. I find it really sad. I always feel the presence of onion-cutting ninjas everytime he meets Yona and Hak. |

| My top pick is always Tomoya Okazaki from Clannad. He's a realistic and down to earth guy who always has snarky comments about the weird things that go on around him. I like him because he was initially very cold because of his hard life, but thanks to his friends, he opened his heart and showed he was a really good person. I relate very closely to that because I'm still suffering the repercussions of my past and I think I'm only my true self around good friends just like him. My recent idée fixe is definitely Kyon from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. His personality is very similar to Tomoya's minus the tragic past and he doesnt really change when he's around his friends I've noticed. He's a nice guy though and I like him a lot.   |

| Roy Mustang - most entertaining badass ever, has been my fav for about 8 years lol xD Shinya Kougami - he's a new one (like 2-3 weeks - compare that time to Roy's xDD) I like him for having potential to be perfect. He is highly intelligent, strong, good natured, has a heart and a mind of a detective who really wants to bring justice and save the day. But all that potential is utterly destroyed, partially because of the system, partially because of him personally. And he's falling as the series progress. Don't know why I love them "could've been perfect, but are actually broken and falling even further" types xD They're my fav guys, but not really husbandos. Hisoka (HxH)>> Please don't ask me why because I honestly have not got a clue. The worst part is that I like him more in the whole jester getup. 2. Ichimatsu & Karamatsu (Osomatsu-san)>> I can't pick one so I'll take both. They're frickin' adorable and trashy and the Seiyuu only make me love 'em more. They're also lazy just like me! 3. Hoozuki (Hoozuki no Reitetsu)>> total husbando material. He's like Sebastian, Tomoe and Jotaro Kujo rolled into one perfect little sadist. Plus, he's handsome and good with kids! 4. Gintoki (Gintama) & Joseph (JoJo) >> I love a jerk with a heart of gold and these guys both fit the bill. Gintoki's funny, laid back, has a huge mop of messy hair and is voiced by Sugita Tomokazu. Ticks all the boxes. Tbh I prefer older Joseph (Part 3) bc he's a total moe blob and needs a hug. Idc that he's in his sixties, he's foxy af. 5. L (Death Note)>> there's just something oddly endearing about a genius who can't interact with people properly. The unkempt appearance and eye bags are also weirdly attractive. Plus, he's flexible, so... Sebastian Michaelis is a close runner up but I can't get past the whole soul eating demon thing.
