| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I really enjoyed this episode, can never argue with some Rukia backstory. Don't want to spoil anything but the end was pretty crazy. Next week looks like it should be pretty interesting too. Note: No subs out yet. Edit: DB subs out. |

| Good episode, and glad it wasnt too drawn out. could have done without seeing glotoneria's release in full AGAIN. Also, Espada or not, im pretty sure if a sword made of ice suddenly formed in your brain, youd be dead too so stop bitching. |
| he kinda just stood there and let her do it and did nothing with his sword release other than laugh at her. which makes him pathetic not the way she killed him pathetic. you'd think after showing us his sword release 3 maybe 4 times, it actually would of been stronger. well I guess we don't know how strong it was since he didn't do anything but laugh. |

| I loved the way Rukia was drawn in this ep:) And the flashback was pretty cool , especially god knows how many episodes of one fight after the other.I'm still waiting for some tad more sophisticated plot to kick in:) |

| I loved it. Anytime I get to see more of Rukia is a plus. I really enjoyed the flashback, it was really moving, especially considering the situation Rukia was in. One of my favorite episodes of Bleach, and definitely the best in a while. |

| Yeah, that was a pretty dull episode since it was leading up to so much but then the kill didn't really take much skill. It was nice to see those weird ball shaped Espada wriggle in pain though :P |

| lame flashbacks but the latter parts of the episode were great. I like Rukia a little bit more after she uttered the line, "Farewell Espada". then it was horrible again after those shrieks of pain by Aroniero. |

The main twist - is that it reforms through ANYTHING. And in this case ANYTHING was Aaronierro's head. Its obvious she came up with it after Kaien's accident - remember, Kaien lost against hollow cause his sword was destroyed. Getting the ability to re-get working zanpakutoh in few seconds seems quite useful, as shinigami without their zanpakutohs are just a dead meat for stronger foes. |

| And... the first fallen Espada. I... kind of liked the episode. It's nice to see some story being animated. But it was WAY longer than in the Manga. Let's see what they do with Renji's fight. |

| I kind of agree. But in this part, you can blame the original manga for this "fight after fight" rythim. | This episode was good, I loved the Rukia back-story and yes, I too feel like I know her much better than I ever have... But the fight was kinda lame. I don't read the manga, so I don't know if it's like that in the manga too, but I didn't find it at all impressive, I mean, like many here said, there was no point of the Arrancar dude releasing his form. |

| That was good. The backstory was actually watchable instead of being really boring. And an Espada got killed, surprisingly, by Rukia.... |

| I'm sorry, but I'm actually starting to get a little fed up with these flashbacks, and re-use of the same scenes over and over again. We've seen the Espada Rukia was fighting, release his blob of doom 3 or so times in the last 10 episodes, I UNDERSTAND HE HAS RELEASED HIS TRUE (yet very weak and useless) POWER! Now lets see some fighting! I'd say if it wasn't for Byakuya, Kenpachi and Ichigo (& now Nel), I probably would have dropped this show already. |

| I liked this episode. I like a bit of back story here and there and Rukia's are usually the best. I wonder how many dances she has xD |

| Rukia's glimpse of the past was beautiful. I'm glad she finally killed that ugly rip off of Envy/Gluttony from FMA(B). Her words just before she collapsed were so fitting. It's scenes like those that can really strengthen the connection I feel with her character. Next up, RENJI! Let's go. |

| I didn't think Rukia would be able to take out an Espada on her own but I'm glad she did. He got the miserable death he deserved. Crying for Aizen-sama, that Espada was pitiful. |

| The first minutes of the episode were so lame, we got the exact same scene for like 1000th time. But then, at least Rukia managed to finish her fight this episode, so I'm not gonna be bothered any more with it. The flashbacks were kinda cool. So what? The souls in Soul Society become Reishi and the dead souls does not reincarnate into humans again? Man, if it's like this than the Bleach-verse sucks. It makes characters' deaths more meaningful though. |

| It's actually nice that we are diving into Rukia's past. I always wanted to see that. And it was a good episode too. I wonder what's going to happen now. On a side note, I hate that it's so slow. We barely got to their fight and it literally lasted one episode. But it was ok. Can't wait to get out of Hueco Mundo |
