| The OP is so meaningful and beautiful!! It made it even more precious how the first episode was an extension of the analogy in the OP. Such a lovely pairing. And always such a warm tear jerking experience looking into Natsume's world. I laughed so much when sensei thought of taking young Natsume to Natori. It was so hilarious. I'm sure Natori would have taken good care of him though. But it was nice that it was Taki and Tanuma. Their bond has definitely gotten stronger with this experience. Plus its really nice to see how much emotional growth and love Natsume has experienced since moving to this town. He no longer has to be sad and alone anymore. Really sweet. I am so glad this came back as quickly as it did. I had already gotten back to reading the manga after Natsume 5 ended-because well Natsume is my baby, but I'm so glad 6 came out this fast. Now I have 2 anime to look forward to every week (this and Shingeki no Kyojin 2). Okaeri watashi no Natsume. |

| Natsume is back, heartwarming as usual.. The OP is really good this time. The opening is really colorful. ED song is okay. I read this chapter before but still it still has its feels. Well, this anime is the one that I will always watch even thou it wont never end. Excellent episode 5/5 |

| As a start to the season, it was enjoyable. The narrative remains as usual melancholy, funny and profound in its motivations. The quality of the drawings and animations, is quite good. | My favourite series is finally back and ahhhhh it already made me tear up. Basically the only series Im looking forward for a new season or manga chapter of as it's such a well some series. Animation seems to up its game this season which is great. |

| Great first episode of the new season! I thought that Taki was going to go into motherly mode over little Natsume. I hope this season explores more of Natsume's past and further develops his character. And how about a romantic interest? I've been asking for it since season one! |

| Natsume Yuujinchou... The more I watch it, the more I like it. One of the most consistent series out there in terms of quality. Touching episode, as usual. 9/10 |

| ahhhhhh yes Natsume is back!!! Honestly I don't know what it is about this anime that makes it so special. It just is. It kinda feels like it has that Disney magic or Nintendo magic that you can't quite put your finger on why you like it, you just do. That's not to say I'm putting it down in any way. Just hard to explain why I love it so much. |

| After the previous season's lackluster performance this episode really brought the series back to where it was before. The drama felt forced for a "first episode" and we've seen this topic before in this series, but despite the circumstances of his condition his concerns and anxieties as a child are extremely relatable. I'm quite envious that Natsume managed to find two people to lean on. |
| The OP is the most beautiful and nostalgic thing ever. Finally we get to see an episode about Natsume's friendship with Taki and Tanuma. I honestly watched it again after the ED song finished and can confirm that waiting for next week's episode is going to be torture. |

| Interestig first episode of season, in the line of the others season, although this episode we can watch/enjoy the evolution of the Natsume personality, and how much win this years, family, friends and a kind "fat cat"!!!! 7/10 for this starter |

| I like this show but at the same time I'm starting to feel like the overall story isn't really going anywhere...particularly with the side characters. The story arcs for many of the people around Natsume feel like they've just stalled. It makes me feel like there's really not much point in having them in the show at all. Maybe it's my fault for not doing enough research into this before I started watching. As I've said before, I do like the show, but I also like being able to see some kind of ending on the horizon. |
