| Sadly, cracking the top 5 would be all be impossible. It includes Monster Strike, Puzzle & Dragons, Fate/Grand Order, Idolmaster Starlight Stage, Disney, Pokemon GO, Dragon Ball Z. All HUGE franchises. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE BTOOOM! I love the manga, I loved the anime, I've downloaded the game (Mimori Suzuko voices Himiko!) but it has absolutely no chance of cracking the top 5. None. |

Someone personally wanting to make it is really the only hope we have as it doesn't make good business sense. | if money was an issue, asobimo could have chosen the crowdfunding option, where people can track the progress and see how much is left to achieve the goal. people are able to track the progress daily and hold the company accountable if it ever reaches the goal, or exceeds it. with the in-app sales ranking, it's impossible to track the progress (how much the company is earning through in-app sales). ranks are updated regularly, which means if the app doesn't reach top 5 before the rank resets, all the money earned ends up in the company's ceo pocket. even if someone spends $10,000, if the app doesn't reach top 5 before the rank resets, his or her money is as good as gone. edit: wait. i said promise. It said "to be considered" so of course it's not a sure fire thing to happen even if goal is reached. ok, it's not even a promise. they will just "consider it" Give us a few thousand dollars before the rank resets, and if we feel like it, we might make a season 2. maybe, no guarantees given. be thankful for our generosity. -asobimo there's a reason companies like bushimo and bandainamco are able to get their games in top 5 every so often, and it's a well-deserved rank for their games. |

Not in the top 50 for in app purchases though: https://www.appannie.com/jp/apps/ios/top/japan/overall/iphone/ I assume they meant the purchases chart where it is a no show, sadly. |

| I'm glad that they're considering a second season but top 5 in the app store seems like an unrealistic goal. Possible yes but highly unlikely. Wasn't popular enough to begin with to get that kind of attention. Could have said top 20 or something. Way to get peoples hopes up then crush them :| |

| This is more than can be said about other anime that would love some lime light on whether or not another season is even being brought up. I actually thought Btoom was a pretty cool concept, well done animation wise, good voice actors, good execution of the source material, unique twist and ending. |

It was a shameless way of promoting their game, and it was a blatant middle finger to btoom fans. the game did become one of the most downloaded for a short while, but of course, it didn't reach the goal of having the most in-app purchases. |

| Btooom franchise MUST release season 2 for anime, we all deserve to see final happy ending. It should not matter if mobile game on top 5 or not. |
