| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- That was one helluva twist in the story! Who knew that the poker-faced Inui actually saw Rio kissing Akari. I really didn't see it coming. And now that Akari has mustered the courage and ask him out, he rejects her! I really cannot blame Inui for this. I always though he probably liked Akari but he isn't really sure how to reciprocate her feelings for him when he is left pondering on Rio and her situation. π Somehow it hurt me more for Inui than for Akari because she is the more aggressive type so she could probably deal with it faster. Meanwhile, Yuna surely is in love with Rio more than ever before. She is so cute and is it just me or she looks more and more beautiful by each passing chapter! They do say girls become prettier when they fall in love! That bye-bye came like I an arrow and went right through my heart! π |

| I was so surprised to know that Inui saw Rio and Akari kissing. And now he even thinks that Rio still likes her.. OMG IUDGBRIBOG And why is Rio being so dumb, just tell Yuna whatever you're feeling!! I hope Agatsuma gives up on trying to get together with Yuna ... | Went back to read chapter 13 where Rio kissed Akari, and the cat was there! So it was interesting to see that this chapter Io sensei showed us Inui's perpective.... He's really a good guy by respecting Rio, but it's so frustrating because now he's starting to have feelings towards Yuna!!! what a mess x.x Still, congrats for Akari "having balls" to confessing to him! :D |

I know, but I feel like it's a safer way to confess and less direct. And she said in the negative, like "if you don't like me" wich doesn't make her sound so cocky. I mean, if it goes wrong (wich did) Akari could say it was a joke or something, she could "dodge" the embarrassment a little bit. but well, in this case she just came with an excuse and ran away. Sorry I don't know if I could make you get my point, but I agree with you, I wouldn't like someone confess to me the way she did. |

| I was riiight, Inui did see Rio kiss Akari, which explains his awkwardness around Akari for the last however many chapters D: I mean I understand him thinking that he doesn't want to hurt his friend by liking the same the person, but in turn, he's also hurting the person he likes. Either way someone will get hurt, and I feel like he should just be honest and talk to Rio about it. I mean that way, Rio could also tell Inui that he's given up. But of course, Inui's the type of really considerate person, which I I do like. It's just that it's going to cause a lot more problems in this situation. I love the way Sakisaka Io uses body language btw:   Inui trying hard to stop his hand from touching his chin when telling Akari that he doesn't especially like her or anything ;_; I agree though that Akari was a bit too straightforward? I'm not a guy so idk lol, but I could see her coming off too strongly when she asked Inui out. At the same time though, I think there are people who like girls with strong personality, and I admire Akari for that. She's also really amazing for being able to laugh it off and saying that she was embarrassed. The panel right after Inui rejecting her, she was really about to cry, yet she was able to put on a brave face. My heart really hurt for both of them in this chapter...now how will they interact with each other? Inui's not the type to be able to act normally. As for Yuna, she hopes that she and Rio have gotten closer after the festival, buuuut Rio is quite troubled. It'll all be good though if Agatsuma doesn't start liking Yuna, so how this will go really depends on him imo. Or I guess if Rio finally realizes that he does genuinely like Yuna maybe he'll make a move. Whatever happens, this will be a long journey, lol. I really love Sakisaka Io's sense of expressing her characters:  Seriously, her characters are so dynamic they feel alive and not just drawings on a paper. That black hair friend moved around in that chair so much during their convo in Rio's room XD |

She's all so nervous around Kazu because it seems like something new to her, and the "you like me, so maybe we should see how it goes" logic suits what she has been experiencing so far in her love life. I don't think it was offensive as well, but a sum of nervosism, heat of the moment and her personality, plain and simple. And I, too, hope this misunderstanding can be solved soon, or the story will suffer. -_- I can't feel Rio and Yuna either. I can see how he's now attracted to her, it seems like a natural thing to happen after the dream he had, but that cannot be anything near as love, and that by itself cannot build a convincing chemistry. Their chemistry doesn't seem right to me, unlike Akari and Kazu. And I'll be pissed if we have a Kazu x Yuna route at some point. We don't need that many cliches. |

| The character designs get confusing, Rio's two friends look just like Rio and Inui. Apart from that, not that I dislike it or anything but this is turning out into a real mess. Yuna has really grown the most so far, I really like her now. |
| Akari and Inui going along with the communication is very sweet but I knew that Inui saw between Akari and Rio kissing during the rain and Akari did the smartest way to avoid rejection which is to run away I guess and not even think about it anymore and I have a sense that Rio is jealous of Yuna because he's not meaningful to Yuna, well that's what you get for rejecting her and he deserves it to say the least. |
