| Terrible characters design (girls are lolis although they're supposed to be teenagers, basically a trap to attract the creepy lolicons), the story is bland and boring, the characters clichés, the ost isn't even that good. The worst is that Clannad fans act like elitists and tell you it's a masterpiece. Worst anime I've watched in a while really. |

| It is not the size of the eyes that makes it so horribly ugly and creepy. It is their position. They are so widely apart and really low on face that it makes the characters look like birds. As for the story, it is full of random shit and forced sad wannabe crap. Simply awful. |

| Well there's a lot of "overrated" series for many people. But for me, Clannad would be above overrated but definitely not a good series. The premise is quite good, but the pacing is just so slow, the characters also, are terribly "slow" at doing shit. But well, once you get used to it you will. The sequel, for me is the thing that just really saved it. Though my memories are all fuzzy now so yeah... |
| It was alright for me. The story was nothing special and people claimed it was full of feels, but I didn't feel much. I watched other animes that made me have feels so it's definitely not me. I still give season 1 a 7 and season 2 an 8 tho because they executed some parts pretty nicely. It is overrated in my opinion tho. |

Story can be boring of course because is a slice of life and surely Clannad is overrated, its drama moments feel so empty, but not After story imo, it has superb redeeming qualities but it's not for everyone, besides many people misundertand the ending. Dindn't like the designs? Well,they're not my cup of tea either, but i think it's the least valuable thing rating an anime Got your point but hey, opinions. |

Some parts of After Story are definitely good stuff and I'm glad I got to see them. I only powered through the first season because of after story in the first place. But overall After Story is also pretty disappointing. Season 1 was tedious and boring for the most parts, but season 2 builds you up to a point where you almost don't regret starting the franchise anymore and then dumps you and leaves you with the feeling of 'why the fuck is this so hyped?' |
