| If its something simple and common like Rin, I don't see the reason why, but I wouldn't call them complicated names like Seigi or Nadeshiko. People always say that if you do that you'll be a filthy weeb and it's just child abuse, I don't think they understand what child abuse actually is. If you want to name your child based on a character you loved, go ahead. Do what you want. It's literally no one else's business what you are going to name your kid or not, and if some adult even has the balls to laugh at a child's name they should be ashamed. |

| Even though I like the names of certain characters, I would never name my child after an anime character. However when I was a little girl, I loved the manga "Tokyo mew mew." And I thought that if I ever got a cat I would name it Ichigo, because I loved the name and the manga so much. |
