| I agree with that rl Idols can be very cringy though. But not all of them. It depends a lot of the song, I think this performance of 'Lion' from Macross F is actually very hype. I probably would have not liked the song as much otherwise, but seeing it performed live after experiencing it in all the epic scenes in Macross F gives it a special flair. Also sure it's j-pop, but it's catchy. Imo lyrics don't have to make much sense in a song for a song to be good. Many of the most legendary rock songs have poor lyrics. Look at something like Smoke on the Water lmao. It's all about the epic guitar riff. Similarly this song is all about the nice n' cheesy j-pop chorus |
