| I've started this anime very biased but I've found it very cute,it has some potential like Midoriya :'-) |
| finally it's been animated and yes i'm saying this even though i didn't read the manga yet but this shows how much i've already heard about boku no hero academia. moving on to the analysis of the first episode i'll state a quote from our main character izuku midoriya also referred to as 'deku' : all men are not created equal. those word are hinting to the fact, that deku-chan has no superpowers at all whereas everybody else in his environment actually does. the setting gives pretty much the same vibe as one punch man from the earlier season as there are heroes as well as villains everywhere throughout the city. the government supports those heroes by paying them off and using them to prevent any evil happening. later on in the show we come to see how the mc has a fateful meeting with his admired hero all mighty. living in a world where 80 percent ? <-- (not sure about this) of the population isn't a normal human being midoriya is trying to do heroic things too. that pretty much sums it up :) |

| It was pretty good. As a non-manga reader, I never really cared about the series and I wasn't going to watch it, but I was curious and I'm kinda glad I checked it out. Unfortunately, I've never been fond of voices like Izuku's, so I'll probably stick to the dub whenever it gets announced. Still, it was a nice intro. Some moments got me teary eyed, so I'll stick with this. A shame it's only 13 episodes, it's the type that really would benefit from having two cours. |

| Enjoyed the first episode but the pacing relative to the number of episodes we are getting is concerning... I really believed Bones was going all in when I heard they where adapting this. Now this feels like they where just adapting another harem novel, just something to pad the April/May months before the next series takes the time-slot. Seems like a really narrow minded approach for this series. I'm not even a big fan of Boku no Hero but from the moment I started reading it I knew this was going to be a big hit. It's got all the elements of a great Shonen series. Assuming it does spectacularly in BluRay sales (I'm sure it will get great ratings). Hopefully, that will make Bones take it more seriously in the future and give it a longer adaptation. There's series where 12-13 episode format works and there's series where it doesn't. Boku no Hero is definitely not one of those series. |

| How bad was this show? It was so bad that I just went and binge read all 85 available chapters of it after watching just one episode. No Lie. That's how bad it was. Last time I had such an impulsive stretch was for DBZ many many years ago. Not even One Piece or Naruto have come close to matching this. 8/10 for now. May go up if they adapt it properly. |

| Good Introduction EP....Animation wasgood...but all in all it wasn't anything special... MC looks like a pussy again...I hate it when they give the MC always some shitty ass pussy design....why do they do that? cuz of some contrast to his goal to become a hero without some special power?? |

And the end of the episode it could be interesting to see how the mc gets to fight without having natural superpowers. |

| Pretty standard setup for a shounen, humor, artstyle and the general feel of the world reminds me a lot of One Punch Man. Pretty cool, works a lot better in anime than manga imo. |

| Really loved it I see no problem with them not adapting the first full episode of the manga, by itself that episode was very long. I rather have them do it right than rushing the hell out of it *LOOKS AT PHOENIX WRIGHT* Animation and soundtrack were very nice, and they really knew how to add emotions to the scenes, like the All Might recording, i dont remember it being so epic in the manga and then Deku crying after being told he will never get powers, it was just so well done. |

| It didn't really do anything for me. Nothing really stood out, not the animation or character designs, no interesting dialogue or anything telling me that his show is going to be any good. I kind of want to see what will happen next, how All Might changes him, but that's about it. There hasn't been enough time to see where the plot is going, but there are things present in the first episode that will generally tell you if a show's going to be good. Tiger & Bunny was already exploring the effects of it's pretty novel commercialized super heroes concept, and One Punch Man... well it's first few episodes weren't that great tbh, but it at least had good animation and the comedy was funny sometimes, anyway, the point is It doesn't look like I'll get much out of this series that I couldn't get out of OPM or T&B. Meh, I'll give it one more ep. |

I wasn't going to try it at first because I'm not a huge Shounen fan but I heard some people saying that it was good so I checked it out and I loved it! I'm sure it's going to be overrated like ERASED and One Punch Man though. |
