| Great episode overall. his past finnaly got revealed in this episode, and there was somekind of twist in it the ed, it was pretty good. and next episode will be an explenation about her past, the wind-user. i'm looking foward to it. |

| Holy fuck, my eyes hurt. This anime is both so bright and when that fighting scene and it looked like some Kingdom Hearts battle I was rubbing my eyes the entire time. The characters are kind of cliche in my opinion, especially the Joker looking bad guy, Akane's just annoying with his ''All parents are saints'' dialogues, Aoto's forced drama is kind of too much for me, the blue water teacher is the only character I like so far |

Action was pretty sub-par and that almost 2.5-D CGI was just weird. I agree. How it's still above a 7 overall rating I'm not sure; other shows this season with more unanimous praise in the forums are rated lower. |
| His parents called out Aoto when his little brother was killing them does that mean he took his little brother's identity to protect him and also the cgi looks better then most series it felt more natural. |

| That drama between the beggar boy and his father was too much for me to handle, I know it happens in real life but it's like they forced it in this drama. Too much drama. Too much angst. Aoto's brother is fucked up. Isn't it always the "good kid" that ends up doing the most insane shit? Akane needs to get in his thick head that not all parents, families, people, etc. are the same. Just because he looked up to his dad and thought his dad was the greatest person alive doesn't mean that everyone had an awesome dad/mom/brother/family, etc. |

| Was an okay episode Color and CG not bad, I'm liking it Aoto's brother fucking killed his parents for no reason. wat Seems like the characters have dark and quite cliche pasts No best girl yet. |

| Hmm so seems like everyone has quite the past. Akane with his dad, Midori with her childhood friend (seems like we'll get to see more of that next episode), and then Aoto and his brother ... seems like the latter's the one who killed their parents! So why's Aoto taking the blame then ...? Plus some more new characters like Loki and the "Santa Claus" at the end. Well, Aoto joins the trio and I guess there was definitely a focus on parents in this episode. All I can say is seems like there are a of characters and I still am not exactly sure what the Divine Gate is ... ED was OK but I like the OP better :P |

| Worst episode of all time. The CGI was absolutely horrific. The characters are boring. That random robot going on a rampage and the "this is getting interesting" comment really pissed me off... All that was for was a few more backstory type flashbacks for the other main characters. Stories that i couldn't give less of a shit about. They'll probably expand on that on multiple occasions later on too. The fighting... well there really wasn't anything that happened... and Joker... all he saw was the MC slash his newly obtained sword once... and that was the end of the crisis... Like really? "Interesting" my fucking ass. Who the fuck wrote this episode. It's a fucking waste of time. If i had skipped this episode. I would have lost next to nothing from the story and character development. |

| Man they did a really good job with the OP sequence, it's beautiful. Wish I could say the same about the show itself. I'm going to stick around for a bit more on this one. |

| I'm slowly warming up to the show, but it still bores me a bit. It's getting more interesting though, seeing as how they all have their own reasons to seek the gate. |
| Meh That fight was really cringeworthy to watch. GG CGI And yes, this show tried soo hard to being edgy, which I think won't work for a game adaptation Maybe, just MAYBE, it won't be bad if those fights isn't CG like they did in OP sequence (Best OP Winter 2016) |

| Liking it so far. The story is good and mcs are likeable too except Akane and that little kid who keep bugging Aoto. Gotta say that use of CGI irritated me too. |

| Damn cats. Stop scratching Aoto's boots. Got damn CG. Lawd Jesus. Akane does know the dad has a bad leg, right?. Even if he had tried to save his son(he did), would it have made a difference? Dad appears to have some past trauma, which most likely messed up his leg. Can't blame him for anything. |

| What is up with these tragic cliche Lifetime movie backstories for the main characters? I've never seen a Lifetime movie, but these are just so bland. Also, OF COURSE THE YOUNGER BROTHER KILLED THE PARENTS! THAT WASN'T OBVIOUS FROM DAY ONE! *sarcasm* I guess the question is why, though. So overall, the episode was really poor and worse than the first. Bad melodrama and dialogue that is forced to make me believe things doesn't work for me. Though I'm happy Loki's here. His entrance was awesome! |
