| It's a cycle, there will almost definitely be more later this year. High School DXD season 4 could come out in 2016 the last I read, but you never know. |

| I'm sure not everything is fully tagged yet. Things like harem visual novel adaptions, those are almost garenteed to have some kind of ecchi fanservice, then your typical school light novel adaptions or battle harems. Though next season does look a tad weak in the ecchi category, not in terms of quantity but quality. |

| in teerms of quality? yes. ecchi in old days is almost near 6-8% of shows aired, now is just 3-5% (according to mal seasonal). quantity? with amount of shows this days, even ecchi has spotlight. but what is change is not ecchi it self, but amount of fanservice. anime this days is moved from like another kind tv seires (aired in normal air time), become mostly aired in late night, which is make it more loose sencorship rule. it lead to booming amount of fanservice. |
