I tend to do this for generic or bad animes (Which I tend to judge by watching the first episode, alone though, not with other animes playing at the same time), though if the anime gets more interesting, I'll watch the rest of it alone (OPM is an example of this; first episode was crap, but the studios stepped up their game). If I have the animes downloaded, I can only play up to two using MPC-HC and VLC, but if I'm streaming online, it's more convenient to set up 3. So yeah, anyone else do this? With all the new Light Novel adaptations, you can watch like 3 generic Kiritos get a harem despite having a waifu, and get them all out of the way at the same time! |

One of the problems with option B is that at speeds above 2x (ex 3 times the speed) there is enough information taken out that full syllables will be missing. iTunes podcasts used to offer a 3x mode but it was removed, possibly for this reason. Using this same process to slow audio down will have a similar result to speaking into a fan. Dubstep can actually sound pretty good like this. Neither of the two methods is perfect. |
