Baby was annoying as hell, One Time (his debut single) was also horrible, there was just so much wrong with his music, I thought. He only started to really lose the hate over his music when Beauty and a Beat came out. I think what happened with Twilight is a lot of people were just angry that it sucked and a lot more people joined the hype train without watching any of the movies just like Justin Bieber. |

| I think it is a really plain love story. Insecure girl sees misterious guy. Then there is a love triangle. And everything ends well, with the girl being protected by the guy. Besides not having anything special, I don't like the way Bella is dependent on Edward. It seems like everything Bella does must be related to romance. That's also one of my problems with shoujo. |

I dont know why because the whole vampires cant go into the light thing is just a religious symbolism that Gods light strikes down the damned. | Some people hate it just because it's feminine. Look at how Game of Thrones gets acclaimed while it's soap opera for males. I also heard there are legitimate reasons to dislike it. The prose is rambling and clunky. The romance is bad. They look at each other and are in love. They have zero personality. Edward also acts like an abusive boyfriend and that's portrayed as romantic. |
