| Apparently episode 3 was censored after it aired by TV Tokyo because of the Anpanman parody being disrespectful. Some of the scenes were recolored during the episode. Kind of amusing how Dekapan-man was imprisoned in the anime censorship prison in the anime. Its as if the staff anticipated this kind of reaction. The head of TV Tokyo's statement during a press conference. Yūichi said: After the terrestrial broadcast, [some people] asked if we should make edits. Anpanman is an important anime for children. All this publicity seems to be helping the sales. At least we're getting an extra episode out of it so I don't think its a complete loss. |
