| I generally liked Claymore. But it's hilarious because it is basically a feminist wet dream... and yet I have never seen a single feminism push forth Claymore as a good series despite embodying almost every single feminist dogma concept there is; - A shadow cabal of evil men that resides at the top controlling the world - Poor victimized women forced to submit their (literal) bodies for the benefit of others - Poor victimized women forced to do the direct bidding of evil men - Men are evil - Lesbianism is ftw etc. It's almost literally "Patriarchy: The Anime"... but staying on topic, yeah I'd like a reboot.... however, I dropped Claymore sometime after the plot completely collapsed in on itself and almost every plot point was dropped in favor of random bullshit. |

Can't it be both? I just don't expect a remake to be immune to changes in anime character design & audience expectations. If creators were immune, Nami would still be a b-c cup & Frederica wouldn't have turned from an adult woman into a loli-goth when she joined Chaika. & if there's a show aimed at men that includes a half-arsed romance subplot where the main male character disappears for half the show, I can't think of it. Nami? the character from one piece? that has nothing do with otaku, that's a personal choice from the author, he is openly perverse (if you read the volume comments) All the shounen remakes I can think of (HxH, FMA, DBZ, Ushio no Tora, didn't have any significant changes like the ones you mentioned, because in the first place shounen manga isn't targeted towards Otaku. The stereotypical stuff you are talking about mostly happens on anime adapted from Light novels. |

| More than a reboot a continuation and just following the manga. =) For sure. This series had something that got me hooked as far as now collecting the manga. The epoch and atmosphere, the dark tone, the color palette, the amount of characters and his ranks, the organization and the plot... I find it very interesting. |

| Yes and no. Yes, in that I want to see all of Claymore animated. No, in that I don't think the first season needs to be rebooted, they can just continue the story from the time skip after the northern battle with some minor alterations to place a certain character where he needs to be. |

Except that there were talks about a Parasyte movie since 2005 when Hollywood got the film rights. It expired in 2013 which started a bidding war in Japan. This is unlikely to happen to Claymore. That bundled with the fact that the anime would have to re-adapt what it already showed since there's no point in promoting a new movie with a sequel anime. |

| I'm one of the Claymore fans. Claymore is in my no.9 out of my top 20 under 1999-2013 anime. Rather than reboot, it is better for the continuation after ep.24 because they make alternate ending for ep.25-26. Just get rid of those last 2 episodes. I haven't read the manga, still hoping for the Claymore 2nd season. But, I almost 100% sure it won't happen anyway because the sales did not reach the production expectations and because of the last 2 episodes were in the way. Yeah, I think reboot would be better. Claymore new anime is just like a dream come true to me......I would celebrate if it happens. |

| Claymore complete 15 years this May there maybe some announce or something, please gods of anime let it happens, we need to see more of Teresa/Miria/Clare and all those epic moments on the anime. :( |
| I'm so sad that this anime isn't that talked about, but that is also part of it's charm. I think if they remade Claymore it would definitely be a lot more popular than the original. (Even though the original was also good minus the ending). But I highly doubt it will ever happen. If there is a petition somewhere out there to get one going I will definitely sign it and advertise it haha. |
