Will TV still be around in 25+ Years?
| Is Television still going to be around in the future? With a lot of networks streaming episodes on their actual websites as well as Youtube and Netflix will there still be any use for TV when we can just watch it on our computers? What do you guys think??? |

| The radio is still around, even though it's more or less been rendered obsolete by television and the Internet. I still even use it occasionally. I reckon that TV will be just as stubborn. I don't really watch TV though, so it can just disappear for all I care. |
Every person takes the limits of their own field of vision for the limits of the world. Except me, of course! |
| I think the reason radio is around is because people can't watch TV or the Internet while driving or while working usually. I don't know what niche market that TV can hang onto, at least TV as we know it. It is more convenient to have a television in the room for when watching things with groups of people. |
Its a possibility. unless we invent contact lenses were we can watch tv in it too. |

| Yes, there is a thing called IPTV service for smart TVs (and those hooked up with a Chromecast dongle or Raspberry Pi). |

| There's not going to be much of a difference between the internet and TV in the future, but you will still have the same kind of cable packages and other bullshit. Live programming (such as sports and other events) will also still exist |

| Yes, but we won't have TV schedules. They'll be obsolete. Everyone will just pay for the shows they want and watch the episodes whenever they want. It's a better system anyway. TV is more comfortable to watch things with than a computer. |

| if 25+ years now the internet subscription is still expensive then ye it will be, here in the philippines the local channels on TV and even the radio stations are totally free you just need an antenna, so i can imagine if internet will be free here then of course TV and radio will become obsolete |
