Very nice episode, Horo was really cute especially when she felt guilty.

Love how their relationship is growing even though, as Horo said, their worlds are quite different. I'm looking forward to more.

Another good episode I'm happy to say and yes I see the greatness that is Horo's tail This followed the manga chapters 3 and 4 fairly closely until near the end. So everything from here on is brand new to me so I'm really looking forward to it.

Fukuyama had a lot more dialogue in this episode which I knew and he sold me on his Lawerence. Was already a fan of Koshimizu's Horo but this just further cemented it.

I gave the ending a second chance so I can view the pictures during it and I have to say it has grown on me. Didn't seem as jarring as it did at first.

Episode gets a 4/5 from me and Horo to win the next Saimoe I say!

Damn, I second what Faust and cyruz said.
Horo looks very cute+moe especially when she felt guilty, and it was a brilliant, clever idea for her to get even with Lawrence.

Quote for the day:
Horo: "Looks like potatoes and me doesn't get along too well"

Im gonna be soo original and say...

SHE IS JUST SO DAMN CUTE!!!! >.<
And I love her personality!

Also I noticed that part where she said that "if the wheat is destroyed she might die"... Anyone can see the possible predictions? Well I hope it's only my speculation.

Love this anime ^_^ can't wait for more.

Well, It's a keeper for me. Nothing super exceptional but it's a good time killer and the main characters are very charming together.

A really good second episode .. I think Horo will become quite useful for Lawrence in his trade
Plus, during the night scene, Lawrence hair appears to be brown, was it a mistake or were they trying to make it look like its reflecting light?

Battle of wisdom between a youngster and Horo the Wise. Really funny. And the ending song is catchy. :3

So is Lawrence a character who does the most facepalm gesture now?

I found this episode a little less interesting from the first but Horo interests me a lot. I liked it when she made it even when she hinted that she may have attacked humans. She's a very crafty wolf like in fables.

Make some more.

Does anyone know of any similar anime that is set in a medieval world like S&W? All the current MAL recommendations relate to genre and not setting. ;_;

Horo the wise wolf indeed. I like how she was able to talk her way out of being revealed and also surpass wits with Lawrence. He's got quite the valuable traveling companion.

This seems to have a laid-back feeling with loads of dialogues. I like how the life of a merchant in medieval times is portrayed, almost having me wish to be like that. Almost.
