That picture has a light filter applied to it to make the nipple more clear. Monster Musume's edited-for-TV version is hardly noticeable at all, her tail blocks her breasts a few times but it's not like the whole show's a white light like TLR. |

I won't ramble about story since, as a hentai, it doesn't have one but i am surprised how they fill whole episodes with neither sex or story. Must be hard to always keep it borders of the uninteresting nothingness that is Ecchi. I will remember this anime anyway... just so i can dismiss arguments from people who have given this more than 3/10 automatically. :-) |

And the anime being high quality and closely following the manga means this isn't a cheap anime to advertise the manga, they're going all out with this. | I enjoyed this way more than I thought I would. Miia is adorable and the male lead is actually pretty likable. Good OP and great ED track. 8/10 for this episode. Edit: Also, Smith is hilarious. |

| As an avid reader of the manga, I was beyond hyped for this to air...And goddamn did Lerche deliver. This might be the first time that something I read got animated and I have nothing to complain about. The art was great. Almost identical to the manga. Gotta hand it to Lerche, between this and AssClass, their animators are excellent at copying the style of the source material. Adaptation was great. Followed chapters 1-2 extremely well. OP was catchy, and the crazy antics happening were on par with the kind of crazy shit that happens in the manga. ED was awesome, and I was very surprised that the animations were all about Ms. Smith's Monster Girl Squad. Zombina, Doppel, Manako and Tio (cant wait for them to debut). I also LOVED that little encyclopedia-esque thing they added at the end there. Was obviously drawn by Okayado. It actually even gave us more insight into the monster girls than there was in the manga. We all knew about Lamias, but they never mentioned subspecies. And all of them had distinct looks and biological characteristics which was neat. This also opens up the possibility of all the other major races having subspecies. It was very neat. I think my only quip was with Smith's voice. I think that Kobayashi Yuu was a good choice, but I didn't expect Smith to act so sensual. I expected her manner of speaking to be more authoritative and like, goofy/nonchalant (more like the scene where she was on her knees complaining when Darling wasn't going to let her stay for dinner), but she has an air of somewhat sexual teasing in her voice. I don't particularly hate it, but I just pictured it different Censoring was also done well. Little bit of mist WHERE APPROPRIATE but mostly just convenient hair/body part blockage and a little bit of Barbie doll syndrome. - I just sincerely hope that Lerche adds the nipples back in the BDs. There were plenty of uncensored moments in the first 2 chaps of the manga. If they want to stay true to the source material. With how great this adaptation is, I'd honestly be devastated if they didn't. Though, if they wanted to keep the Barbie dolls in the OP scene that's fine. It's original, and if they leave it as a stylistic choice I'm fine with it. I know people are bashing TLRD2 for the insane light beams, but calm down. EVERY season of TLR has been like that. EVERY season has been censored on TV. EVERY season has had the crazy white lights. But TLR also has fuck tons of large nudity scenes. They save the complete package for the BDs and buyers get their money's worth. Anyway. I also love how so many people who didn't think they were going to like this, or weren't a fan of monster girls or the genre ended up watching this and opening themselves up to a new experience. And they actually liked it. Seeing all these comments like "wow this was awesome" "teleport me to this world!" "MC is so lucky" etc, make me happy that everyone wasn't ignorantly bashing the show. Thanks MAL community for showing that you don't have to always be toxic. And please keep it up Lerche. I'm incredibly happy, don't disappoint me. There was character development between the two. Besides, this was the first episode. Do you even understand what development is because you clearly don't. You've just been introduced to the characters and there are more to come. And there is no sex because this isn't a hentai and the story explicitly says why sex is forbidden. Don't be an imbecile. 4. You're describing MAL there buddy. Because just in this season alone, Overlord, Chaos Dragon, Aoharu x Machinegun, and among others were given low scores. Not to mention alot in previous season. So this comment of yours has pretty much no basis to it. I suspect that unlike you, they actually know how to be critics. You even gave Ore Monogatari a 4 so I can't take you too seriously. |
