| When was the last time we got Doujin to anime adaptation? it was Haibane Renmei. i think i`m the only person here who`s gonna watch Sore ga Seiyuu just because the character design is similar to Saki. | Well Maria Falconetti's performance as Joan of Arc sure lived up to its reputation. The purity of her acting makes the impact very powerful. The feat is only made more impressive by the complete lack of audio - it's none thanks to the music or her voice - only her expressions. And it was a striking film in general, criticizing the corrupt Church of the Middle Ages. I never knew the story behind Joan of Arc so it was a nice venture from a historical perspective too. I guess I could have put in an audio of my own but tbh it worked just fine without. |
