| Yandere Kanojo - seriously one of my favorite romance manga out there, so well done Azumanga Daioh - a classic and probably one of the funniest manga I've read Poor Poor Lips - perfect balance between the shoujo ai and comedy, made me smile a lot K-On - it should be obvious Gochika - not sure why I like this as much as I do but cockroaches > Warrate Sotomura-San - great gag series and I really never get tired of it Haikiori Drops - really captures the spirit of what a 4-koma should be, hope it gets more chapters soon some of my favorite anime that come from 4-koma manga are Hidimari Sketch, Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-Kun, and Working!! but I never got to read those 4-komas generally make me smile, that's why I love reading them so much. The simplicity fits a lot of slice of life series and makes them more fun to read IMO. Conveying the most meaning or getting the most laughs in such a limited amount of space is really impressive. If I'm being honest I only added the second question in the title so this doesn't get locked for being a listing thread. |

What of Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun? OT: My favorite is easily Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun, though that wasn't exactly hard since only that and Acchi Kocchi stay on my radar and even then, I forget about Acchi Kocchi most of the time. |

The humor is great, as it doesn't rely on pervertedness, hating a character, or (purely) physical comedy. I also really like Yandere Kanojo and Tsurezure Children. But Nozaki-kun takes the cake, in my opinion, in terms of execution. |

| Azumanga Daioh is the funniest manga I've ever read! Osaka is a pure comedy gold, always made me lol. I'm not a big fan of K-On! though, wasn't amusing at all imo. I think I prefer the anime version in this rare case. Especially the sequel manga was so boooriiiing.... |

| Yandere Kanojo is one of my favorite mangas and works it's drama great while mantaining it's comedy (Though it's a mix of 4koma and surely you know), Also, Yankee-deres are a 100% win . Shoulder-a-Coffin Kuro is a pretty interesting one, it's a light-hearted "traveling story" with a deeper, darker story surrounding the main character (Same creator as GA) Sketchbook is uh.... It's sketchbook! For me it's just really interesting to read, I have no idea why I like it so much nor why it's one of my favorites. (There are several following images, as you may see, I have a strong liking to this series) And there there's two that were already mentioned. Wa! was a really interesting and enjoyable read, comedy-wise, the circle of love concept had me going also. Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-Kun is probably if not surely the best paced 4koma comedy I've seen, the timing of the jokes is perfect. Hidamari Sketch is a enjoyable relaxing read, it gets pretty interesting sometimes and it gives that feeling of wanting to keep reading more. Currently waiting to see if it'll end soon or it'll continue after Hiro and Sae's graduation and the joining of Matsuri Suzumiya Haruhi-Chan no Yuutsu is a complicated one, I don't know if it's because I'm a fan of the original series and a fan of 4komas or if between quiet Nagato, moe Nagato or derp Nagato, I preffer the latter, either way, I adore this series. Seitokai Yakuindomo got dirty jokes, and yet it doesnt shove fan service with it, it concentrates on making the most of dirtyness into humor and not into jiggle jiggle boom shakalaka Why do I like Yonkoma/have preference on it? It's most likely because of the 4 panel format (Cough* youdunsay?), Setting, development, climax and conclusion, meaning it usually delivers a punchline (comedy-wise, but that's a stale on 4komas mangas). I myself am quite fond of the tsukkomi/boke based humor and 4komas have a really nice setting for it to happen. |

| Aho Girl is easily my favorite 4koma as it's one of the few that consistently makes me laugh. Shoutouts to Waratte! Sotomura-san. The best thing about 4komas is that I can read 'em quickly. Even if I get interrupted it's no big deal cuz it's so damn short. |

| I think the humour-style of 4-koma is something you have to be in the mood for, but when you are, the pacing is usually what sets the tone and makes the 4-koma great, it makes them easy to read and enjoy. Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun is by far my favourite, though I saw the anime first. Seeing the anime helped me get into the manga, and the manga helped me appreciate the pacing and set up of the anime even more. So it was win-win for me. |

| Houkago Play Series Acchi Kocchi Ojojojo Yandere Kanojo Kill Me Baby Big fan of slapstick comedies and romantic comedies, so these made the top five. Houkago Play isn't really heavy on either, but overall it's a highly entertaining read. |
