| For the US we have Pixar, Dreamworks, Disney Animation Studios, Hanna-Barbara, Nickelodean, and those old ass cartoon shows that CN loves to rerun in pretty much every single 3rd world country. Sorry but American animation is far more popular than anime. |

| I'm pretty sure dbz is more popular than any american cartoon. Pokemon Digimon Yu Gi Oh Seint seiya is a well known name in every country except america and canada. One piece is about to reach dbz level. Naruto is well know too. Attack on titan is getting there too. Bleach season 2 will jump start bleach back into household mainstream. |

| There are large portion of population here who knows The Simpsons even though they never watched any episodes of it, and more easily for any classic Disney movies. You will find much more people knows Toy Story than any titles made by Ghibli. |

| Frozen grossed $1.279 Billion and is currently ranked #6 highest grossing movies of all time so yea I'm going to say American animation wins by a landslide, especially considering as there are a few others to gross over $1 billion as well. |

| I think American Cartoons. Why? Well because here in the west they air American cartoons alot, so young people easily get to know them. In comparison to anime which you really have to search up for you to know what it means. There are after all alot of people saying they used to watch dbz or pokemon but didn't realise it was anime till they were older. |
