| I only had one valentines day in my life I was in a relationship, that was in 2009 I was 17 years old in my last year of high school. I don't even think we did anything special I just gave her some chocolate stuff and didn't do much out of the ordinary. But then again this was a sort of awkward high school relationship between two very inexperienced teenagers haha. So normally I just treat it as another day. I usually use it as an excuse to goof off more/schedule more free time than a normal day. Valentines day isn't a day buisnesses/schools count as actual vacation, but I usually plan to get work done ahead of time so I have more free time to goof around on the day. |

I've come to realize that it doesn't even follow the principles that once dictated why Valentines Day is what it is. Cupid is not some dude with a bow and an arrow shouting proclaimations of love, peace and joy to all. Love is a bitch. It's a bitch that demands honesty and if you're not honest about how you feel you're gonna get hurt. |
