There are so many factors to go on, but just wondering who does everyone think is the most influential person, in terms of creating something or performing an action that is considered amazing from your perspective.

Karl Marx in modern time. Communism, Nazism, Social democracy but also cultural marxism, and even libertarianism has its roots and great influence of this man.

Think Marx was a great influence, Communism is a near perfect strategy on paper, but when executing on a practical level, it falls apart quickly.

Mozart? Not that i don't love his music but Salieri's music was much appreciated. And yes, Da Vinci too. I could create an infinite list of italians though...

Hitler? Lol

The others are ok. Jesus is not a historical person for non-believers. So i suppose you're Christian.

Well I just wrote the first people who came into my mind, didn't think too much about it :p and I think Mozart is well more known as Salieri

Also influential doesn't necessarily that it's a good thing, so yeah Htitler was
Also it has been proven that Jezus existed, so even if you are non-Christian you should acknowledge that he was one of the most influential people ever

Gutenberg, because if the Europeans hadn't also discovered the Printing by themselves, Humanity probably wouldn't have advanced as People from other, even more developed Cultures like in East Asia, didn't bother much with exploring and improving Things.

So the sole Fact that we could even talk about this, might be to a great Extent because of the technical Revolution a simple Discovery or Invention by a Person from the right cultural Sphere had.

No, i'm Catholic but many Atheists doesn't belive in his existence.

He existed, and most atheists I know would at least agree it was highly likely he existed, there's quite a bit of proof for someone who lived over 2000 years ago.
What a atheist or hell anyone who is not a Christian believes is that he was not the Son of God, just a man.

Probably whoever came up with the idea of currency. As Marx puts it quite nicely, all of our history, including its events, our culture and most of our scientific achievements, can be traced back to the way people make money and the distribution of that wealth.

One could say that economics is the skeleton of human society, so whoever came up with it could probably be called the most influential person in history...

Someone told me once, that Marx made good analysis but bad conslusions. Social democrates for instance, agreed with Marx analysis but didn't believe in his conclusions. They have done it better than the communist so far, who follow his ideas almost like a religion.

There are just so many factors to take into account when you want to analysis a Communist strategy. Like the size of the country, the Soviet Union thought that a centralised economy would be simpler, but that came to bite them in the backside severely.
