| I'm sort of happy. I want a sequel because I want to see the white-haired Kaneki animated. I started the manga after I put the anime on hold on episode 7. I can see that the anime did a lot different from the manga. I wouldn't say the anime isn't the worst, but i'm going to hope like, everyone else it gets 2-cour. |
| I really hope they wont do the same thing as they did with this season...... My pesimism says that it will , most likely , happen to be another 12 rushed episodes. For me the last episode of the 1st season seemed like there was alot of missing content(I dont know if its true but it is how it felt for me) and let a bad taste. |

It wasnt only rushed but they changed Kanekis character development completely, he looks pretty much like a typical Shounen MC. If only Madhouse took care of the series... |

| It depends on where this season ends. If this will be 2-cour then it's possible for them to cover all of the manga; if this is the case then I will be more excited. If they decide to do this in 12 episodes though, it will be even more rushed than season 1. And season 1 skipped full chapters of the manga, so it will be another shitty adaptation. Considering it's the same studio, I don't have much hope, so overall, no, not excited at all. More excited for TG:re. |

| Kinda disappointed to hear there's a second arc. That last episode of Tokyo Ghoul was brilliant and it would've been a ballsy, but very elegant, move to have the story be cut short because Ken's character arc had just finished. |

| Can't wait for the second season!! Three months to wait, huh T_T. I hope it will be longer than the first season. Yeah, I was reading the manga until recently (still stuck in chpt. 4, hehe^^) because I thought there was not going to be a second season (couldn't found any news). But now that I know, I'm planning to continue reading the manga after I finished watching the second season (or if I read it there won't be any fun)!! I know it's gonna be more exciting than the first one!! |

| While i can safely say that the 2nd season anime adaptation will mist likely be as rushed and heavily censored as the previous one. i mean its obvious anime studios rarely improve their anime adaptations. just like at SAO II just as rushed with the first half as season 1 was. I hope I really really hope. that they will at least not fuck up the Kaneki vs Ayato fight. with the shut up and half kill part done decently at the very least. I hope that they at least have the common sense to do that without fucking it up. |

Still, since Ishida is doing this, I've hope that he might bring something good in it and won't let pierrot totally turn into shit. Also, I would like a re-make in future by madhouse which follows the manga PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

I'm actually glad the 2nd season won't follow the manga instead of being another half-assed adaptation since it will provide an actual reason for a remake to be made in the future. I've seen too much of these half-assed adaptations that could've been a hit if handled decently being butchered by incompetent staff/studio and hopefully TG is not one of them. Madhouse/I.G/WIT/Bones would be the ideal studio for the remake if there will be one. |
