Shirou has killed that drive. He's become the "baka" to her tsundere. This unlikely alliance of theirs was predictable, but the pacing coming to it was poor and subsequently killed the momentum earlier episodes built up. Ok. So after this episode we know that: Berserker is strong as hell she can't take him on, we know that lancer can most likely beat archer because of his Noble Phantasm, we can deduce that caster and assassin are allied, she is allied with Shirou at the moment until they take down the barrier/master at school, Rider/shinji have set up the barrier but Rin doesn't know that. After knowing all that what do you expect her to do? Right now she is focused on taking the barrier down which you saw in this episode. |

| Average episode, but average for this series is still pretty good. We got some fun scenes on the romance side of things: Rin being tsun tsun, and Saber being distractingly sexy -- yaaaaay, harem building, it's a thing I guess. Surprise surprise, Shinji is a Master too. Here's hoping the guy gets some different dimensions/developments outside of smarmy douche, cause right now he's just kind of standard unspectacular slime and that's just sort of boring. I also hope he's the last teenager Master cause I'm really missing the diversity of the cast we had in Zero: let some crusty old adults get in on the fun too! Plus we learned some more about Archer, which is nice, because Archer is nice. I sadly already know who Archer Looking forward to what will most likely be another excellent action sequence next episode. Mod Edit: Removed the other stuff in your post because by doing so it'll give off the idea and make people wonder right away - pretty much throwing it out there. Your other spoiler, which was in spoiler tags, has also been removed since it hinted it more |
