Tch they should be glad he killed danzo and the other kage''s killed alot people form other nations too and it was war, just hypocrisy at it's best :( Sasuke's sins are justified, oonkoi should be sentenced to death for all the betrayals and hiring the akatsuki to off people. And the whole cloud village is guilty of hate crimes against white people, stealing hyuga's and beating naruto up. |

Awful ending. Sakura reverts to her chapter 3 self and fangirls over Sasuke, completely ignoring Naruto. Sasuke turns into the Sasuke Naruto pretended to be in chapter 3 and is suddenly in love with Sakura, who is more than happy to be his stay at home wife while he becomes a deadbeat dad to a daughter that suspiciously resembles Karin more than Naruto. Naruto suddenly forgets he's been in love with Sakura for 5 years, the promise is given no closure, and he falls in love with and marries Hinata off panel (this will all "make sense" in the movie!) All the foreshadowing of the hero getting the girl by Yamato, Sai, Naruto himself, the parallels and foreshadowing by Minato and Kushina, Jiraiya and Tsunade, Obito and Rin, the data books in which Kishimoto hinted at Sakura's "new" and "important" feelings for Naruto - all of it is thrown of the window like it didn't happen. Ultimately Hinata is given Naruto, but she was never given the respect or development she deserved as a character. By all indications she becomes his fall back, his silver medal. Kakashi becomes Sixth Hokage purely because of wish fulfilment and because of a shitty movie set two years later where Naruto is still a scrub taking orders from Shikamaru. Everyone ends up with everyone because that's what Kishimoto believes a good ending should be about. All the female characters become housewives and mothers because that's apparently all they're good for. Not mention of Kabuto or Orochimaru because those guys aren't dangerous at all. Like with Naruto, Karin's feelings for Sasuke are swept under the rug. We don't even get to see her, Suigetsu or Jūgo again. Lastly: sky scrapers and laptops. Get the fuck outta here. I loved this manga through all its highs and lows for 698 chapters, but the final two were garbage. They make Albus Severus Potter look like a great idea. Kishimoto has done a disservice to his manga. I'm so very disappointed. |

I pretty much liked the ending but one thing just bothers me, Naruto having no time to be with his Family. Naruto is pretty much the king of Kage Bunshin, he retains all the knowledge, memories and experience of said Shadow Clones when they disappear so how the hell can he not just make a shadow clone to be with his family or do his Hokage work for him. This is just a really stupid way of making Bolt as much like Naruto as possible, which is very disappointing when Kishi already has a way to resolve this family dilemma in the story. plus the world is at peace and Tenten can barely sell any weapons so how can he be that busy in the first place. ah well Naruto I'll see ya in the mini-series next year. |

Kishimoto has done a disservice to his manga. I'm so very disappointed. Good Gracious Charlie Brown!!! My thoughts exactly!!! :-) I had a constant feeling I was reading a fanfiction story and not the actual manga. :P Okay, I do understand that in that time lapse everything could change but WTF? Naruto became buddies with Sasuke only for the blondie to become a "cool" Hokage and for Sasuke (Maaan he looks just like Severus from Harry Potter) to become a wondering threat to humanity? What was the point in the whole final battle then if you're in your comfy Hokage chair while your (still psychopath) friend is wondering around hell knows where?! Not to mention that the latter egomaniac doesn't even care for his "family" back in the village. Why, ohh why every single interesting manga has to have a rushed ending (main example Beelzebub)???!!!!! There is no excuse not to make a nice ending for Kishimoto had 15 B****Y YEARS to make it! I cannot describe further how frustrated I am. :-( I just pray to every single manga God & Goddess that One Piece is not going to have such an ending!!!! Seriously man? Bolt? There are so many Japanese or whatever names that Kishimoto could think of... But nooo he decided to go for this. :P |

I enjoyed the ending but i missed the naruhina and sasusaku kiss. Instead of showing his kids i really wanted to see at least a date. It would pleasure me more. Its like the icing on the cake. And kishimoto-sensei even did not show naruto at least chating with hinata. Im a naruhina fan but one thing that i always agreed with narusaku fans is that naruto and hinata its a kinda weird. they act like they are a acquaintance. I miss some chat between naruto and hinata. The only normal chat between then was in chapter 98 before the neji's fight. The shounem magazine really need to change some rules. Why a male and female cant do kiss or passionate kiss? Come on, Naruto its popular more than any other manga in the ocident. At least make a expection. At least show Hinata give an order to naruto buy vegetables for she makes the dinner, or chating some trivial things like news from other villages. I jsut wanna see trivial things like that. They only showed a acidental kiss between naruto and sasuke, and that thing between sakura and naruto are just for ressurrect him. (im brazilian, and dont know the name for what she did- maybe its mouth-to-mouth breathing?) I hope they show something at the novel. As a naruhina fan, im disapointed. I dont wanna see the naruto and hinata kids, i wanna see they together, at least in a panel. As a sasusaku fan im really liked because of 699. The stare of Sakura its way touching, more than a kiss. |

i highly doubt that they will show something in the movie. Its hard to show something romantic in a shounen movie. If this movie was shoujo, its will be the way i want. I think they will be together for like 10 minutes in the begining and 30 seconds in the ending. And they will never talk too much because someone will always intrude. I dont care about showing they together with kids as a family. This is not the kinda of love i want to see. This is just a excuse for not show them kissing or chating. Hopefully i will bite my tongue ^^ |

A part of me is happy coz is over, the war arc was longer that I wanted it to be, and most of it boring... I confess that until some chapters ago I had a little bit of hope that Sakura and Naruto could happen, of course that went down when she told Sasuke she loved him, and all that...I really wanted them to be happy, since was one of the things Naruto always wanted (Sakura and be a hokage), but I can also be happy for her, that got a end with Sasuke, even when he seems like a away daddy to their kid, that seems to have only Sakura's genius lol Well, Hinata and Naruto's kids sure looks a lot like them, Ino and Sai was a couple I did not see coming, same goes for Chouji and Karui. Gaara was really emo like with that hair hehe 7/10 |

Not to satisfied with the last chapter, cause it felt very forced and fan-servicey for the most part, especially after the perfect closure offered by chapter 699. I ain't a big fan of children being carbon copies of their parents in both name and appearance either, so it didn't help. It was still pretty nice to see how all the older versions of most characters (Naruto definitely looks perfect with shorter hair). Anyway, a very solid manga. Even though I lost interest around the start of shippuden, and despite all the times I complained about its quality, I'll still remember it as a work I've been invested in for more than ten years, and that will always hold a special place in my nostalgia department. |

Don't like how the characters changed looks for the worse >.< (esp Gaara wtf yur hair!) Meh avg, decent ending, but rating it higher for the One piece ref at the end lol not enough Hinata ;(, and too many pairings, seems a lil excessive, and ofc obvious 8/10 overall, at least the ending was well rounded |

Should have been the 6th if you ask me.. In any case shouldn't we wait for the movie to determine the Naruto series as over? I mean it is written by Kishimoto. |

At some point I was a NaruHina shipper, but I lost interest in the Naruto series altogether at some point and only followed it because it seemed like it was probably going to end soon (that was probably around the time of Sasuke vs Danzou), so while I still prefered NaruHina over NaruSaku, I started to become indifferent to the whole shipping business, because I realized that it would only end in unhealthy obsession to ship fictional characters, so even if it had been NaruSaku in the end, I would not really care. The way Kishimoto wrote the manga it seemed like he would still leave that "ship" afloat until close to the end, as if he had not decided what to go with yet. But when the final chapter got released, I was surprised how the "shipmates" of the "sinking ship" were so much in denial. I did expect something like that, but the scale definitly did -- and still does -- surprise me. It's a given that the same with reversed roles would have happened if the other pairing had "won" instead, though the scale may have been smaller or higher, but I don't really care. Getting obsessed with things like pairings is just quite childish and unhealthy. Aside from that, I read that the movie will be (partially or completely) written by Kishimoto himself, so if that is true, it may be better than the filler movies before. My final score including everything from beginning to end is 7/10. I doubt the movie will do much to change that, since it is just a small part of the series. I do have to admit though that 1 point is possibly due to the nostalgia factor, but well, it's just my personal opinion. |

Getting obsessed with things like pairings is just quite childish and unhealthy.. I never expected Naruto and Sasuke to become a couple; as far as I'm concerned, they became much more than that in the series. Moreover, I haven't paid much attention to the Naruto manga or been much of a "shipper" for a few years. What I was hoping wouldn't happen, however, is what DID happen. Kishimoto couldn't leave well enough alone and had to tell us his view of how things end up, but they all feel very removed from the actual story. Relationships he'd never even touched on (as romantic relationships were NOT the integral part of the story) -- were suddenly at the end thrown together into pairs with kids (VERY unoriginal kids, as mentioned -- carbon copy kids? Please!!) with zero build up to any of these things in the manga. From where I'm sitting, Sasuke showed zero interest in Sakura, and went as far as to leave her for dead more than once. Yet, poof, they have a kid (although this is a debated point...) -- all I saw at the end from Sasuke was a gesture to her in a brotherly way, doing the same thing Itachi did to him when he was a kid! The gesture was -- I can only hope -- was not perceived by SasuSaku shippers as a romantic gesture. In short, it does not add up. If I was a SasuSaku shipper (or a shipper of ANY of these pairings for that matter), I'd be really mad. There was nothing there, besides a deus ex machina ending. I would much rather have these things left up to my imagination -- leave romance out of a shounen manga if they're not going to build up to it properly. I would have accepted other pairings if they were done properly. The whole thing is terrible wish fulfilment/fan pandering. A lot like the horrendous epilogue of Harry Potter, they're both great examples of how NOT to end a series. |

I actually felt kind of unsatisfied with this ending. I mean....how many pairings does the author have to do? Every single pairing was pretty much to satisfy the fans, but I think that was overdoing it a little bit. For the series as a whole I enjoyed it. 7.5/10, but since I can't give it that I have to round down because it's not quite at an 8 for me. - 7/10 |

This feeling when your favorite anime/manga ends...Damn!! This manga was really awesome........Honestly I'd say it changed my life and it is responsible for bringing me to the anime world....all the emotions, all the things which I've learned and the ending was exactly what I wanted it to be!! Naruto, I'll always love you!! The sadness of characters dying, all the emotions thoughts...it was a great experience....I'm glad I that I read it.. While reading the last chapter I was continuously smiling...... but still there'a doubt on my mind about what happened to all the tailed beasts???? Oh well... looking forward to The last:Naruto the movie and the new edition which is going to come in spring next year!! |
