| This anime is almost turning out like the live action. Moon, Mercury, and Mars were introduced right away and so have 3 of the 4 Kings. Nothing wrong with that. Still good show and I liked Mars transformation/ |

| I was so in love with this episode. I keep watching them all 3 times in row. The transformation of Rei had me in tears. Idk I just get really emotional about Sailor Moon. |

| For the love of whatever God I believe in today, the Art this episode was off model way to often. Also, the CGI totally sucks balls... At least Rei made her appearance... I really do hope they can fix the strong ups and downs in the animation quality and finally get the CGI right :/ |

| I can't even explain how delicious it is after belittling the old series fans every week. Fai himself gets his dreams of a gruesome death scene completely shattered. At least the old series fans have their old show left for rewatch. :) |

| I can't say I liked this episode as much as the previous ones. hope to see Rei's temper further in the series. I don't know whether I'd like this anime if I didn't watch it years ago. |
| OVERALL : I don't think this episode is as great as the one it found its origin coz to me it's less scarying with the lowering bus ! plus, no youma has been summoned in this episode. And the rumor of a demon bus hasn't been well described especially since the implication of the Hikawa shrine doesn't seem ambiguous at first !! If they didn't respect the pattern of the old episode why didn't they create a new script ! It's STUPID ! DISAPPOINTMENT : No catfight between rei and usagi ! And it seems this version of rei-chan is indeed more mature and elegant in the chara design but former rei-chan was also very stylish back then and some kind of diva with very girly dreams ! Let's not forget she called herself "Rei-sama" . . . VA : Rina Satou portrayed her with conviction ! No critic for me, I hope she will get a little more haughty soon !! Transformation : Nice and vivid, with red hot flames and sparkles Chara design : Still have a feud with how it is more of a copycat of the precure style ! I feel like I am watching a good parody of Sailor Moon in one episode of precure or like it was in Ebiten lol . . Hmm, I don't recover my inner peace watching this serie so far . . GOOD POINT BONUS : Next episode so glad they won''t introduce Mako-chan yet !! *spoiler* I didn't feel like they killed jadeite, so i would be surprise if he was actually killed especially since the shitennou are supposed to have a larger impact in the first arc |
| Guys stop, please :F It's nice to read different opinions, but the conversation goes out of control slowly. Besides that I've seen on SM forum people talking, that episode 5 will air 3 weeks after episode 4, because we got 5 Saturdays in this month. So ep 5 would be on 06.09. I hope it's not true, especially, that they said it's biweekly :( About the episode. Did someone noticed, that Tuxedo Mask has no gloves, when he catches Luna? Toei must have a Gloves Phobia xD Besides that Animethon states, that on 09.08. at 5 pm there will be hold a live event for SMC http://www.animethon.org/docs/2014_A21_Schedule_Saturday_2014-08-09.pdf?july31 I'm curious, what they will show there. |

For me I find it less bothering if a single screencap looks fcked up for a split second, but rather derpfaces they show for 10 seconds. Not every move can be fluid but PLEASE at least put some effort into longer scenes... yuck. |
| A example how it could look like, if it wasn't fu**ed up. It took me ca. 15 Minutes to correct the location of ther right eye, positioning her nose and resizing the lips. It's still not perfect though. Some places are too blurry, but looks better. Having layers of contours, colors and shades should be an easy task to correct such errors. Really Toei... |

| Definitely the best episode so far, I liked it! The animation is still shit, which is annoying but also starting to amuse me slightly (some faces are really too fucking weird). But I liked Rei's transformation (honestly pretty much like them all but Rei's the most!), really like the way these characters are developing - Rei being calm and elegant, very refreshing to see. Basically, animation still shit, but transformations are good and storyline getting better! Although at times it felt a little too fast-paced perhaps. Oh well, definite improvement from last ep. |
| I'm a little worried about Rei....in the original she had such a fiery personality. We did get to see that side of her a little bit when she starting fighting, but I hope that we get to see more of her temper in future episodes. I don't like this calm and composed Rei. :( |

| The art became worse than the previous ep lol. But the ep itself was enjoyable. Poor Jadeite was left in the loop among the Shintennou(sp?), the rest knew abt the crystal thingie except for him. Rei seems awesome already; she appears tough but her sailor mars pose is really girly lol. And I find it cute when Luna was typing the keys on the laptop <3 |

Rei has absolutely no interest in romantic relationships and values her duty and calling over it. She does not hesitate to call Usagi out on her shit or scold her and Usagi crushes on her hard for a while, but they are not rivals - that was one of many sexist bullshit plotlines the previous adaptation added. sadfacelv said: Jadeite supposed to die in this ep? | So Mamoru is in High School now instead of college...much better. Well maybe Rei and Usagi just haven't started really get to know each other yet like the last time, but I really like what I see from Rei in this version. (It should be noted Rei was my least favorite from the old series.) We'll see if the prideful Rei shows herself again... mainly what bugged me about the old series Rei was she never could admit her mistakes and blamed/took it out on others for all her problems. If that gets curtailed a bit she may become my favorite...but my old favorite has yet to appear so we'll have to see. |

| Why is everyones transformation better than Sailor Moon's :/?! I have mixed feelings about this episode. Rei is really beautiful like in the manga, but some of her expressions really need to be fixed :/. The bus scene with Mamoru was funny , but I am sad that they didn't animate the part where . I'm excited to see the next episode. I hope they stay true to the manga and don't skip too much. |

| I'm surprised people find more issues with this episode than the previous one. Sure there are some wonky shots of Rei, but overall there was less blatant off-model moments. I think it's horrible Toei isn't treating SM right, but if you disregard the fact that it should be THE event anime with a huge budget, I still really like the show so far. I think it's good with an absolutely lovely classic shoujo feel. |

Anyway, rather good episode again, liked Rei's personality, it was a while since I watched version of episode where she appears for the first time in first anime, but she did seem calmer and nicer with Usagi this time than what I remember. Her transformation is also fiery and fierce, but I think I still like Ami's the most. Rina Sato is definetely doing good job as her new voice actor, after Michie Tomizawa who is now Kaito Kuroba's mother Chikage Kuroba. And speaking of Michie Tomizawa and her Rei voice, I watched this video few days ago... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eLTAqYO2JBk It's nice to hear saying famous Rei's line again, but her voice seems noticeably old for girl of Rei's age. Anyway, as I said, good episode, my favorite scene is during Jadeite kidnapping Rei, and Usagi entering that dimension with bus - I think background music was really great and dark, kinda reminded me of some Yasuharu Takanashi's things from Naruto: Shippuuden, and Fairy Tail. The only thing I didn't like were some weird facial expressions that makes me leave this anime aside until whole series is available in 1080p Blu-ray rips which usually look much more refined. Rei was my favorite as a kid! I remember her being more tomboyish (I saw myself in her lol) Sailor Jupiter was my second (I wore a ponytail religiously so she was cool) who doesn't like lightning? I also like Rei's transformation and remember her being more brash and butting heads w/Usagi (for being soft/too emotional?) Adore Rei's voice too. It does sound mature but having a low voice myself, I don't see it as unrealistic. |
