| This isn't uncommon in real life, but maybe exaggerated in anime. Females have different bone structure, specifically their hips, that allows them to do this much easier than a male could. Males might find this uncomfortable because their hips are smaller as they are not intended for child birth. |

| I never pay attention to people's feet or lower legs ... its interesting the body parts that some people focus on sometimes! Most of the time I'm just looking at someones face, or at the most from waist up unless they are really tall I suppose |

| I catch my female friends sometimes posing pigeon toed for photos. I don't see the attractiveness but apparently it gives off an innocent demure, walking like a child. I've also heard it makes your legs look thinner and gives a submissive vibe. Whenever it comes up in anime/manga, it's always referred as a "womanly walk". |

| Argh this trope! Especially the inward-turned knees thing. Inward-turned feet are really not uncommon at all even in real life, but this knock-kneed standing just looks weird. I find it stupid-looking, but it's (to my disappointment) quite a common trope in anime art. But the characters look so much cooler when they don't do that! (Except for Airi with slightly inward-turned feet, but not even she has inward-turned knees.) They look so much cooler this way. |
