OK, II just finishedWhite Album 2 . . . (Not 1, 2.) My, Gosh. That anime . . .It was supposedly filled with feels but honestly, I really wasn't feeling it usually. Except a scene or two. I see what they tried to do with the feelsand I was like, nope. Not feeling ya here. The drama felt (contrived?). It was just your typical harem . . .with two people . . .it tried way too hard I think.

In the end, I was kinda frustrated with it. I think this is how Angel Beats haters feel about Angel Beats. MAybe some of you really felt the drama here, but I did notMaybe because i've seen this before a lot?

What do you do after being dissapointed by an anime? Do you jump into another anime right away? What anime has frustrated you andwhat did you do afterwards?

I keep watching it, so that i can judge it in a whole. I also don't like to drop things, most in my drop list is that i don't have enough time to watch it, and it's in my on hold for months.

School Days frustated me. I came for the forums.

I usually watch an anime I know that I'll love afterwards. For me, it's a good old sports anime.

I just start running at an ever increasing speed until I've built up enough momentum to launch 10,000 ft into the sky obliterating with a deafening boom into a thousand pieces. Then they gently fall back down to the earth and are neatly planted ready to grow into young new otakus.

i follow so many anime at the same time its hard to get specifically mad on a single one; i don't need to jump into another anime, because i'm already into more than a dozen anime

the most dissapointing anime in recent memory is super sonico, and in a way, it made me kinda glad i can use the lowest rating, which doesn't come up so frequently :/
i guess i can say the same about every anime i gave 1 star

Normally I drop it.

Most of the time, I'm good enough at picking out the shows I watch so the vast majority of what I watch are at least bearable. But sometimes I have to just drop the show because its so bad, or its just so incredibly bland/mediocre I can't stand it anymore.

One example of a series that frustrated me lately was Baccano! A lot of people love it, but I just couldn't find much of anything to really enjoyed in the series. I wanted to drop it quite a few times, but I finished it because its so well-received and its short.

Example of shows I got frustrated with and dropped from Spring 14' season: M3, Mekaku City Actors, Captain Earth. Currently Mahouka isn't so good and I've been frustrated with the slow pacing/insanely detailed dialogues and explanations, still watching it for some reason.

EDIT: Damn OP, white Album 2 is actually the next Finished Airing series I was planning on watching (watching Full Metal Panic! Trillogy now). Oh well, I'll still try it anyway. Hopefully it isn't as bad as you say it is. Sometimes, when we read too many reviews of an anime and go into it with really high expectations, it can affect your enjoyment of the series when the show doesn't live up to the high standards you set (as opposed to just chosing some random currently airing show with no reviews prior to airing and you haven't read/watched soruce material for it).

I just take a temporary break from watching all anime and have this fixed sullen expression on my face for the rest of the day. It happened to me last week while I was sampling the first eps of the anime that came out this season. Mental note: Read the synopsis before watching any anime.

I try to look at it from a new angle. Sometimes the fault does lie with the viewer rather than the show. Did I fully grasp the story? Did I understand where the characters were coming from? Where did it fall short at? If I remain dissatisfied after answering these questions, then I proceed to rant, rage, and trash talk it from dusk to dawn.

If it frustrated me in a good way, I give it a score of 10/10 and let it settle in.

Else, I watch more anime.

I write a rant about it in the comments part of MAL. It can be very fun if you like complaining about stuff. Almost makes me look forward to disappointing anime.

Rant blogs and reviews are also fun.

I'd give it a low rating, and rant in it's forum.

Yeeeeah, the ending for WA2 sucks. I was upset because it basically ruined the show for me. (Well, it was already going downhill, but they still could've finished off strong.) I never expected to have a strong negative opinion of a show I finished. Given the hype it gets, it came out of nowhere.

I usually get over it after a few hours, or the next day. Sometimes I watch another anime. Sometimes I take a break from anime.

I just watch something insurmountably worse--in order to make me appreciate endings like WA2's

A good, simple, sure-fire set of anime that are 90% of the time insurmountable worse, are those shitty "Highschool Idol" omnibus-style anime.

@LoveLive
It's natural for a person to deny he's a failure as a human being. That's why he searches for somebody who is more miserable than himself. That's why so much animosity exists on the internet. Those who aren't able to find a more miserable person, turn to the internet and call other people losers, even though they've never met. Just to make themselves feel superior. isn't that pathetic? There's a sense of security that comes from speaking badly of someone else. But that isn't true salvation. — Tatsuhiro Satou

Drop it instantly.

Then go to the review section and see what people actually thought was good about the show.

If I start getting bored with slow character or plot progression or I just get pissed off and feel like walking away then I have been known to look up the odd list of episodes and read ahead to see if a certain arc ends in a way that wont leave me questioning why I just wasted so many hours of my life watching this.
