| Loved the episode! Rin looks so relaxed now, it's sort of refreshing. (Why was he crying in the op tho.....if it later turns out it's because he didn't get scouted I'll probably lose it lmao) The cherry blossom part was adorable, and I liked how they focused the three petals that were huddled together getting torn apart, probably symbolizes how Haru, Makoto and Rin will be going their separate ways after graduation. Anyway if Rin is happy, I'm happy so 5/5 lol |

Even if it lacks that, the slice of life sports genre it goes really sets it apart from just a fanservice show. SAO and Black Bullet are on another level a lower level so don't even talk about them. If you can't see past the outer shell, well, that's really your own problem. |

| Whaa~ That was a really nice first episode! I just love watching them swim, it makes me want to swim as well. They look so free and happy. Rin crying because of the sakura pool was really cute. Just like Makoto's red ears when he was on stage. Can't wait for the other episodes! |

| the episode was AMAZING. the opening had this "sports anime" feel on it, really nicely done oldcodex;; also the ending, omg. i literally watched it more than 5 times to properly pay attention to each one of the characters, they are utterly cute on their onw way. nice execution kyoAni, plus nice fanservice you gave there huh ლ(╹◡╹ლ) (first time commenting lmao, please be nice with me) |

| YESSS I have been waiting for this. KyoAni is here to save us and set us FREE with their next masterpiece!!! On a more serious note, really liked this first episode. Builds on what happened last season and they didn't waste time to explain things to viewers who didn't watch S1. The soundtrack is already sounding solid and just shows how great Kato Tatsuya as a relatively new composer. It was sweet to see the bonds of rivalry and friendship both grow with Haru and Rin. The moment where they see the two kids hyping themselves up is just a perfect example of this. Wednesdays are gonna be my new favorite day of the week. See you next water time... Seriously, I've been waiting forever for this to come out haha |

| Liked the change in BGM/OST. The brostep from S1 really didn't feel right. The club recruitment assembly scene was just plain hilarious. |
| Weaker than I thought it'd be, but still - not bad. Op and ed aren't as good as the previous ones, ESPECIALLY Rage On, it was damn awesome. Great animation as before, but I was awaiting something funnier. Hope it gets better later, hard to say more after the first episode... Enjoyable to watch, but easy to forget at the same time, I guess. |

| Free was a year ago, holy shit that was fast The OST that starts near 5:30 kinda reminds me of the Good Feeling instrumental by Flo Rida I've never realized how much I enjoyed this series until this episode, this is AOTS for me so far. Everythings so chill, i love this show |

I never had much expectations from it other than that cool game setting they were in that was eventually ruined when they decided to put in more "romance" between the dullest characters. BB had potential obvious but it was evident from the first episode that it wouldn't be great because it couldn't stay serious, like other gems of the season like Sidonia. |

| well Free here and it isn't holding anything back they pumped up the manservice to 11 already this episode felt exactly like S1 just Rin wasn't a dick which is a plus i guess and the ost and animation is kickin still it felt like a Eternity watching it. but i won't lie i'm just back here for more Gou~!, though i feel as the guys have less clothing this season she has more lol. |

| I think I'll enjoy Rin much better this season. I wasn't a big fan of him, but after everyone made up, he became so much more likable. |
