Since, you know, unlike Daisy and Peach, who have spent time partying, she has a whole GALAXY to handle. @MC-sama: There is no official canon for the Mario series, so everything is fair game although I do think it's worth noting that Luigi's Mansion mentions events from Paper Mario so, that's a thing it kinda seems like they tried to have a canon during the N64 and Gamecube eras, but then stopped caring after Mario Sunshine, and Rosalina doesn't "control" anything, she's an overseer/caretaker there's a huge difference. She's basically like Kami on Dragon Ball. Anyway just to clarify, I do think Rosie is an awesome character, but my original point still stands that she is not a princess therefore making Peach the best princess because Daisy is lame, Wario is the only cool character to come out of the Super Mario Land series. Oh and Rosalina is playable in Super Mario 3D World, but she's not all that useful, in fact pretty much every character sucks compared to Luigi. |

Gazillion games of being kidnapped from parties(including the most ridiculous ways to be kidnapped like being incapacitated by CAKE....) and dragged from castle to castle by an overgrown dinosauraligatorthing in love with her. And yeah Super Princess Peach. The game where Peach fights via power of changing emotions(what the fuck Nintendo?) and which has been quite commonly criticized. With how Rosalina is in EVERYTHING nowadays and just how fast her popularity exploded, chances are we might get her game too. Hopefully without her using the power of emotional instability and mood swings...(again wtf nintendo?) As for Daisy. I really, REALLY doubt that. even in promo material nowadays Nintendo barely features her and mainstream public sees her as nothing but pallet swap of peach. |

They gave her emotion, and one of them was anger/annoyance. Boo hoo. People have emotions, characters have emotions too. More criticism was laid out about how easy the game was, unsurprisingly only a small a handful gave a crap about the 'sexism.' Apparently even press packages coming perfume scented is sexism! In the end her portrayal wouldn't have mattered to a person like you, because you'd always find some aspect to lean on to make it sound terrible. There's no point. Its not that they gave her anger. Its that the mechanics of changing emotions is a typical stereotype of female portrayal in sexist narrative. And yes. Perfume part was another "what the fuck nintendo" part. They had a chance to have Peach be taken out of the "feminine damsel in distress princess" stereotype and they blew it by reinforcing it. |

It's almost like you're all purposefully discounting any game where Peach did something useful to skew votes towards Rosalina. Nowhere in the thread title or the original post does it say that those games don't count. Personally, I'd vote Peach since she's been with Mario and the crew since the very beginning.
