| Personally, I've always been thinking about renaming since my name is Róbert, which is pretty rare in my country(don't know about other countries tho) and sounds very weird and lame (at least to me). But there's something that holds me back from doing it. I think my parents wouldn't like it and might also be disappointed in me. I also think they wouldn't get used to it and would still (along with my best friend) call me Robo forever. I don't have anyone else who could care less. Have you ever considered renaming yourself ? Are you happy with your name? If you renamed yourself wha would your new name be? |

| My first name means fair/white in one language and my family name means black/dark in another language. It's the kind of name a science fiction writer would come up with for a morally ambiguous character. But I like it, so I'm keeping it. |

| My name is alright and unique, so I've never considered changing it. It sounds like such a hassle too, having to edit your information everywhere. The only change I'd make to my name is to add my mother's family name to my middle name, since I have a very strong connection to that side of the family. |

| Absolutely not. My name is pretty uncommon where I live, but it's largely used in north europe. On the other hand, I have the third most common surname of my country. The result is... funny, I guess. Sounds good : D |
| I wouldn't change my name but I would love to change the spelling of my name... Choosing an uncommon spelling in my region of a very common name was really a bad decision of my parents. It's a pain to explain how to make an "é" on your keyboard in order to type in the name. And that's only the minor problem. On every second paper with my name there are at least 1 or 2 spelling errors in my name. |
